Meet the new vet pair behind your pet’s care: Husband-and-wife duo Massimo and Luca have joined the Winton VetSouth team to enhance our small animal care services! 👫🐾

Dr Massimo graduated from Utrecht University in the Netherlands in 2018. His focus is small animal medicine and he offers Winton pet owners dedicated small animal veterinary expertise 🩺

Dr Luca, also a 2018 Utrecht graduate, has strong experience in small animal and equine practice. As well as being here for local cats and dogs, Luca also supports the VetSouth Equine team in providing excellent services for horses across Central Southland 🐱🐶🐴

The pair joined us from Australia, where they spent three years vetting in the ‘red centre’. Before that, they worked as vets in Scotland for three years.

Massimo and Luca are here to help you keep your animals happy and healthy, and they're supported by the skilled mixed animal veterinarians in our West team 💚

Get in touch with us on 03 236 6090 or visit us on the corner of Great North and Welsh Roads in Winton. Our Winton clinic opens at 8am, and pets with appointments are able to be dropped off at the start of the day and picked up later by prior arrangement to make it easy for you.

Arthritis is a progressive condition and there is no cure. However, you can work with your vet to design a treatment plan that will alleviate pain and slow down the disease’s progression. This enables most pets to live a happy and fulfilling life.
