The first week's almost over; full of early morning adventures, dusk walks and midday naps!

Some of you may remember Gordo (Kelpie), as he was part of the pack walks for the past few years. I've been given the opportunity to look after him and his sister, Bella, up in South Canterbury for a couple of weeks. It's been so so great to see them again, he had a lot to say once I arrived but we've slipped back into routine so easy and he's been showing me all his favourite local pinecone and swimming spots.

Looking forward to a roadie over to Tekapo and surrounding areas next week!

Pop down to Animates this Sunday for our Adoption Day with West Plains Car Rescue.
We'll have a sausage sizzle going outside alongside a bake sale, and a colouring competition for the kiddos.

Beach day fun! We had the whole left side beach to ourselves and they sure made the most of it. Straight from the car to the water for Abby, Fynley, Hugo and Pixie; Rita was off to sniff out the dunes while Daphne and Storm hung back with me, probably waiting for treats. They were all soon involved in the chases, exploring what the tide left behind, and more running.

After everyone was tired and sandy, it was off to the river for a quick dunk to clean off before home time
