Mishka and Cookies babies are eyeing up what mischief they would like to get into first 😅
Will they:
-help load the dishwasher
-sign up for coffee making lessons
-empty the tissue box
-sit on the water fountain
-get in the toy box
-go straight on top of the cat tent

Did you know Golden Point British Shorthairs aren’t actually white cats?

These babies are born almost pure white because, in the womb, their whole body is kept at a warm, even temperature. The colourpoint gene only produces colour in cooler areas, so once they’re born, the colour slowly starts appearing on the ears, face, legs and tail. It takes about 18 months for their colour to develop fully.

Because Golden Points are not genetically white cats, they don’t carry the same deafness concerns that can sometimes be associated with certain white cats with blue eyes. Their blue eyes come from the colourpoint gene, not from the white gene.

Their eyes are so striking. Once they develop their round BSH look they turn into beautiful Polar Bears 🥰

My kitchen buddy 💙
6 month old Fifi has appointed herself Head of Kitchen Supervision.

Her duties include:
-Following me everywhere
-checking for food
-pulling all the tissues out of each new tissue box
-getting on the bench for a closer view
-supervising coffee making
-ensuring timely delivery of her food
-looking adorable

Cookie and Charlie spending some time together… well, as together as stud cats are allowed to be 😅
They’re great mates, and such good company for each other. They’ll often sit near each other, lie in the sun beside each other, and generally keep tabs on what’s happening next door.

Secure outdoor runs and tunnels, elevated walkways and lookout towers, climbing, exploring and exercise opportunities, quiet spaces to rest and relax.
Indoor play areas with toys, scratching posts and enrichment activities. Plenty of room to choose where they spend their day.

Being able to climb, explore, watch the world go by, play, hide, nap, and socialise when they want to helps promote confidence, wellbeing, and reduces stress.

For us, breeding isn’t just about beautiful British Shorthairs. It’s about giving them the best life possible.
