🐴 Competition season is here! ☀️

With spring underway and summer just around the corner, it’s time to start getting those competition calendars filled up! Whether you’re heading away for a weekend event, show jumping, dressage, pony club or just need a float for a short trip, we’ve got you covered. 🏇

Our entire long-term hire fleet is currently out on contract — which is fantastic! 🙌

But don’t worry, short-term and casual hires are still available, so you can get your horses where they need to go without committing to a long-term lease. Make sure you book as early as possible to avoid missing out!

🚨 Coming January 2027…
We also have a brand-new angle load horse float on the way, which will be available for long-term lease from January 2027.

If you’re looking for a reliable float for the 2027 season, now is a great time to get in touch and register your interest.

📩 Message now for casual hire availability or to enquire about the upcoming long-term lease.

Summer is coming — let’s get those horses out and about! 🐎☀️

📢 A little update from us

From 07/09/29 we’ll be making a small adjustment to our casual horse float hire rates.

We’ve also decided to simplify things across the fleet — all of our floats will now have the same casual hire rate, regardless of whether you choose a straight load or angle load.

This keeps things nice and simple when booking, while allowing us to continue providing well-maintained, quality floats for you and your horses. 🐴

We really appreciate all of your ongoing support and bookings — our floats are kept busy because of you! ❤️

Our long-term lease will also be aligned between straight and angle loads but any existing quotes will be honoured for a 30 day period from the quoted date.

Thanks as always for choosing Ararimu Hire for your horse float hire! 🐎

Quick reminder for everyone to also make sure a visual check of your tyres is important before setting off on any trips with your float!

Unfortunately this tyre was not salvageable due to the positioning of the damage so down to Drury Tyres this morning for a replacement followed by a trip to the air pump to check all pressures are equal before being deemed ready for customers again 🙂

Just a heads up that we still have one brand new 2-horse straight load float available for long-term lease. 🐴

If you’ve been thinking about leasing a float instead of buying, or just want the convenience of having one on hand whenever you need it, this could be a great option.

It’s ready to go and looking for its new home!

Feel free to send us a message if you’d like any more information or want to come and have a look.

🚨 A small addition that could make a big difference. 🚨

Our two brand-new horse floats are now sporting “Horses On Board” labels on the rear.

It’s a simple reminder that when you’re behind a horse float, it’s carrying something incredibly precious. Horses can move around during travel, so smooth driving, allowing extra stopping distance, and avoiding sudden acceleration or braking helps keep everyone safe.

Whether you’re towing horses, livestock, or simply sharing the road with those who are, a little extra patience goes a long way. ❤️🐴

Thank you to everyone who gives horse floats the space and consideration they deserve. Safe travels to all!
