A very tough decision- Available to the best of experienced homes.

Rising 6yo (Dec) Mare.

Irish Draught (Balineen Blue Mountain) x WB (Gymnastic Star lines).

A beautifully put together young horse, with impressive movement and talent to burn.

Produced and started carefully and thoughtfully, with an emphasis on life experience. She remained on the same property for 4 years living the life of Riley and developing before being started in December ‘25. Life thus far has consisted of plenty of farm adventures, hill work, gullys, dogs and stock. Shes fantastic in traffic often offended to move, has very little spook and no dirt under saddle to date. She’s had one hunting experience and managed herself well- excitable young horse antics, settling into it. A big ask in such a huge environment and there were definitely opinions. She will be successful in this area with more mileage, however, she is simply too lovely!

She has been on a myriad of outings to different arenas for schooling and stations to hack- in these instances she was impeccably behaved under saddle for a young horse. She has trotted over poles and small fences however this has not been a focus. She has had one session jumping on the lunge (pictured) showing natural ability.

Standing around 15.2, you won’t find this cross often in a pint sized package. She’s an incredibly balanced ride with a classy presence that is deserving of a competitive home. In the right hands this mare will be incredibly successful. Showing, RTR, Showhunter are all areas she will excel in.

Her forte, disappointingly is not mine and she is available to only the best of homes with necessary knowledge and experience. Although I’d love to have her in the paddock and head out on adventures, it’s evident that she’s far too talented and rather enjoys showing off.

Note- she is a strong willed mare, this hasn’t been an issue with experienced horse people. Starting was a breeze, but there are a few quirks that are easily managed in a knowledgeable environment.

If you can have a laugh and pair this with a kind and fair approach she’d be a fantastic prospect.

She is a mare that carries no regrets, knows she’s good looking and her attitude reflects this. She has shown no vices under saddle, is incredibly food motivated and loves her friends. Plenty of footage available to genuinely interested parties.

Inexperienced homes need not apply.

Comet is an eye-catching gelding with a big personality and a bright future ahead of him. He has had previous stints of professional handling and, like most young horses, works best with experienced handlers who can continue his education.

He requires a firm but fair method of training, and will only be offered to an experienced home. Comet is enjoyable to be around when given clear expectations, boundaries and something to do. He’s currently out with others paddocked, and does become unruly when bored- thus, will not be suited to those unfamiliar dealing with this behaviour. Leads, ties, floats, feet trimmed regularly and teeth up to date.

Comet is not a dirty horse, just a young boy that needs something to do!

With beautiful movement, a natural inquisition, and keen attitude to learn he is an exciting prospect for someone wanting to develop a young horse their own way.

This young lad is seeking a home that offers plenty of adventures and variety, where he can grow into his potential both mentally and physically.

Great to see both Franklin and Joan so happy in their work!

Both visitors with an aim to add a bit of diversity to their everyday routine, life experience and extra attention 🥰 Joan’s owner noting ‘simply love her, and treat her like she’s going to be a champion’, on her intake form and it looks to be paying off.

Soft spot for thoroughbreds around here based on my own experiences- most being superbly trainable, willing and incredible athletes on and off the track.

Last minute call from a friend saw Zeph heading off to her first hunt! A big ask resulting in some big feelings and ✨opinions✨ from little miss. We managed our way round and had a cracker time all the same.

Can’t thank the Manawatu hunt and property owners enough for accommodating oodles of baby brain, and a very much needed gin at the end of the day! 🤭
