New clinic - Bit Fitting, Saddle fitting and Physio!
We have a Bit Fitter, a Saddle Fitter and Physio coming together to hold a clinic at Three Wires.
Whether you want to book one, two or all three - we can accommodate. Regardless of how many clinicians you book, there will be a one off ground fee of $20 per horse.
Equine Muscular Therapy NZ:
River trained through the College of Animal Physiotherapy in the UK and has been running for 5 years now. Her sessions are physio based so include massage, stretching, mobilisations and exercise prescription. River specializes in rehab and performance enhancement. Her sessions also utilise cupping, myofascial release, balance pads and kinesio tape when appropriate. $130 for an hour appointment.
Saddle Fit Pro:
Taylor is a saddle fitter and registered equine ergonomist (CEE) of the saddle fit for life global network. A saddle fit assessment with her includes both a horse and rider fit evaluation. She incorporates conformation and movement mapping, ridden evaluation, and saddle fit information that empowers owners and riders to recognize when to book a saddle fit checkup. (Taylor can fit both English and Western saddles). $180 for an hour and a half appointment
Southridge Equine (Bit fitting):
Jenn finished her accreditation through bit bank Australia in 2022, but continues to upskill. She's completely independent and carries a wide range of brands in her fitting kit. Jenn has a whole horse approach to her fitting. Fittings consist of an assessment of the horses mouth, a ridden component in your current bit and then you will be offered some options to try out based on what Jenn has seen. (Depending on demand Jenn may bring a selection of bits to purchase for this trip so if you are wanting to buy a new bit let us know. Otherwise she will only bring bits to trial). $120 for an hour appointment.
