Ruakawa Arena is officially open — and we’re absolutely thrilled with the surface!
It’s riding beautifully, so much softer underfoot, and we’d love for you to come and try it for yourself.
We may still do another top-up later in the year, but right now it’s feeling fantastic.
📅 Bookings are available via Setmore.
Please note: Due to our lovely Woodford and Iona girls the arena isn’t available Monday–Thursday after school at this stage. However, it is available during the day and on weekends 😊

Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas!
We are looking to upgrade our arena rake. We will be selling this one. It is homemade but does a great job, attaches to quad. Always been shed stored. $1000ono.

It’s a bit short notice but we have Maurice Beatson at our arena tomorrow and some lesson spots have become available from tomorrow 26th November 3.45pm 2-3 lessons available.

$125 individual for 45mins (including ground fee)
$110 each for 2 together for 1 hour (including ground fee)

Maurice Beatson is one of New Zealand’s most successful show-jumpers. Born in 1953, he has competed at the highest levels for more than five decades, including representing New Zealand at the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul. Known for exceptional longevity in the sport, he has achieved more than 200 Grand Prix victories, including his 215th win at age 71.

Thanks for all the lovely comments and engagement from the post I put up yesterday it really is humbling to have so much support, and we really do love meeting all of these new faces and catching up with old friends 🥰.
If you want to book arena please message page with time and I will confirm if it’s available as the “book now” button isn’t reliable enough. I’m working through a better booking platform.

Arena has had an overhaul! Sophie our hard working 14 year old took all the jumps off. Harrowed and weeded it. Jumps have been cleaned and a beautiful course set with lots of fill. Message the page to book. $20 per horse per hour.
