Hi everyone, we've made a slight change to our referral protocol for urgent in-person appointments. If you would like to refer a patient for in-person assessment urgently please take some photographs of the eyes and email them to [email protected] as well as filling in the referral form on our website. This allows us to triage the case and schedule it appropriately. Alternatively remote consults are a great starting point for urgent cases as we can usually complete these faster than we can get cases in for in-person appointments. Congratulations Petra!!!!
Dr Petra Price BVSc MVM MANZCVS FANZCVS is now a Registered Specialist in Veterinary Ophthalmology. Petra finished off the last part of her residency training with Kellam's mentorship in Wellington. She has then gone on to pass ANZCVS Fellowship exams and obtain specialist registration, which is no mean feat. We're really happy for her and wish her well with her future career.

Following our move to Hamilton, Petra is working with us in a remote consulting capacity only, for in-person referrals please contact Totally Vets in Feilding.

For veterinarians who use our referral services, please note the prices of both in-person and remote consultations have now increased. Consults which have already have appointments booked will be charged at old rates, new bookings will be at new rates. Details can be found on our website

We use a range of diagnostic equipment to carefully examine all parts of the eye. From there was can form a plan for advanced diagnostics, medical treatment and/or surgery as required.

Waiting times for consultations in Wellington are currently about 6 weeks. We recommend veterinarians who refer to our Wellington clinic consider using our remote consultation service.
