✂️🐾 IT’S COMPETITION WEEK! 🐾✂️

Something pretty exciting is happening behind the scenes at Alex’s Fur Real Dog Grooming…

I’m heading to GroomFest NZ 2026 this weekend to compete! 🏆✨

After all the hours of grooming, practising, learning and obsessing over the little details, I’m finally getting to put those skills to the test in the competition ring. 😳✂️🐩

I’m equal parts excited, nervous and bloody excited 😂

I’m really looking forward to the whole experience — learning from the other groomers, meeting new people, soaking up as much knowledge as possible and, of course, having a bloody good time doing what I love. ❤️

Wish me luck! 🤞🏆

I’ll be sharing the behind-the-scenes, prep and hopefully some finished photos along the way, so follow along! 👀🐾

Hi everyone 🐾

Just a quick notice that from June 1st, grooming prices will increase slightly, $5 per service, $10 for extra large breeds.

Grooming prices vary depending on coat length, condition, size, and the style requested. Longer or more high-maintenance coats may require extra time and care, which may result in an additional charge.

This small adjustment helps cover increasing operating and product costs while allowing me to continue providing quality care and grooming for your pups ❤️

Thank you all so much for your continued support. 🫶🏻
