📢 COMMUNITY DESEXING & MICROCHIPPING VOUCHERS — IMPORTANT UPDATE

All of our community desexing and microchipping vouchers have now been allocated.

Our waitlist is officially CLOSED. We have the majority of our confirmed, already-issued vouchers booked in, and we will not be accepting any further applications at this time.

🐾 A reminder regarding voucher requests.
If you have failed to attend your appointment or cancelled for the initial microchipping appointment, your voucher has been revoked and reallocated to the next person on our waitlist. These vouchers are limited, and we need to ensure they go to people who are ready and able to attend their appointments.

We have unfortunately experienced a significant number of last-minute cancellations, no-shows and people failing to respond to emails or follow up on their bookings. This wastes valuable time and means other families miss out on assistance they genuinely need.

We have also experienced demanding and inappropriate behaviour from some people when we have been unable to provide assistance. We understand that desexing costs can be difficult to manage, but our team does not deserve to be subjected to rudeness or abuse for being unable to help in every situation.

❤️ Please remember what these initiatives involve.

Our community initiatives are funded by Flawless Paws Charitable Trust through grants and donations. Every voucher requires funding, administration, communication with applicants and coordination with veterinary clinics. These programmes take considerable time, money and effort to organise.

We provide this assistance because we care about animal welfare and want to help families who are struggling. However, we are a charitable trust, not a government agency, and we are not obligated to provide these services.

We do so because we believe they make a difference.

Going forward, we will be implementing stricter conditions and expectations for future voucher programmes to ensure funding is used appropriately and our volunteers' time is respected.

📌 What happens next?

• All available vouchers have been allocated.
• Our waitlist is now closed.
• We will announce any future community desexing or microchipping initiatives on this page when funding becomes available.
• Please do not message us asking to be added to the current waitlist, as it is no longer operating.

Thank you to everyone who has been patient, respectful and appreciative of this assistance. We are incredibly grateful to our supporters and donors who make these initiatives possible.

We will continue doing what we can for our community, but we also need to protect our team's time, energy and wellbeing.

As a friendly reminder, Flawless Paws Charitable Trust is a non-profit charity. We do not make any financial gain from these initiatives, and we work our own regular jobs outside of running the charity. Statements suggesting that we are money hungry or making profits from programmes like this are unjust, unnecessary and completely fictional. We make no money from this work and, just like everyone else, we have to work regular jobs to support ourselves.

🐾💖 WOW — what an incredible donation! 💖🐾

A massive 20kg+ of cat food has been donated to help feed our rescue cats and support cats in our community! 🐱🥰

Thank you, thank you, thank you! 🙏💗

A heartfelt thank you to the kind person who donated gastrointestinal food to us. We genuinely cannot put into words how much this means to us.

When you're a small rescue caring for cats and kittens with all different kinds of needs, there are constantly unexpected expenses. A kitten develops a sensitive tummy. A cat comes into care needing a specialised diet. Someone needs veterinary food to help them recover. Transitioning from foods to another can cause alot of messy litter trays.

And suddenly, another expense is added to an already veeeeery long list, and these foods aren't cheap as we all know.

That's why donations like this are such an enormous relief!

It means that when one of our cats needs this particular food (which happens alot), we can give it to them without having to worry about whether we can afford it.

Running a rescue can be incredibly rewarding, but it can also be incredibly stressful. We want to help every cat who needs us, but the reality is that every dollar has to stretch as far as possible.

To the person who made this donation: thank you! Your kind gesture is going to save money, time, and hopefully some litter!

You may have simply given us a some food, but to us, you gave us relief, support and the ability to keep putting our limited funds towards where they're needed most. Or, we can share it with other organisations who may be having the same issue with food that isn't reaching so far.

This is what community looks like! And we are SO grateful for every single follower, person who donates, likes, comments, interacts, shares stories about us through word of mouth-

Thank you for helping us continue to care for the cats and kittens who have nowhere else to turn. ❤️

If you'd like to help us continue to help them 💗

🐾 WE’RE ALL OUT OF VOUCHERS! 🐾

Wow — what an incredible response! ❤️ We’ve now allocated all of our available free desexing and microchipping vouchers.

If you contacted us by email or through any other form of contact before 3pm today (06/10/2026), you will still receive a voucher — even if we haven’t had a chance to reply to you yet or book your initial microchipping appointment. Please be patient with us while we work through all the messages.

We would love to make this program a regular thing and will advertise on our page when we have enough funding in the budget to offer more free desexing and microchipping vouchers in the future.

We’re really sorry to everyone who has missed out this time 💔— keep an eye out on our page for future voucher rounds.

One more important note: If any vouchers remain unredeemed 7 days after they were issued, we’ll advertise how many are available so they can be allocated to other animals and families in need. We want to make sure every single voucher gets used to help where it’s needed most ❤️🐾

Thank you all for your patience, understanding, and incredible support of this program!
