These three great Greek figures have been reborn as three adorable puppies. 🐶🐶🐶

These pups are ready to set sail on their odyssey to find a home. 🛶 While they are brothers, they will be looking for homes individually.

Poseidon like the ocean on a warm summer day is sweet and refreshing. He is looking for a home that will help him grow and make a splash in the world. 🌊

Perseus is a people puppy. Forget slaying Medusa all the pup needs is a good snuggle and tummy rub to make his day. He is ready for family that will make every day feel like an adventure 🗡️

Prometheus much like a titan is our most outgoing puppy. Every new challenge is one he rises to and he is waiting for a him to call his own. One look at his adorable ears and you feel yourself falling in love. 🔥

Once again it’s our favourite time where we get to celebrate all of our pawsome families who have given a loving home and second chance to some of our amazing pound pups 🫶🏼

To help each pup settle into their new home, we’ve sent them off with a 3kg bag of Black Hawk, the perfect way to kickstart their fresh journey. 🐾

A huge thank you to for generously donating these bags and supporting our mission to give every dog a second chance. 💛

The only way to describe Nunu would be he is the biggest sweetheart you have ever seen in the entire world 🫶🏼

This precious boy really does have it all! He is a soft, affectionate character who is absolutely obsessed with toys - always carrying round one in his mouth.

He doesn't take not much seriously apart from the fact that treats must always come after he sits. He always wears a smile on his face when greeting you and try’s his best to be polite and wait to be invited over for a snuggle 🥰

Hamilton Animal Education and Control Centre will be closed to the public Sunday 11th October due to low staffing levels.

All the dogs in our care will continue to be looked after during this time.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Normal opening hours will resume on Monday 12th October.

Lilah is the definition of a girl with a permanent smile. She craves and loves human attention most and will sit oh so perfectly for the camera and strike a pose 💁🏼‍♀️

She has the pointiest ears that will listen to every “good girl” and pick up every rustle of a treat bag (she LOVES a treat)

We’re looking for a special family that will take the time that Lilah deserves to continue her training and guide her through to her adult years. She’s a sweet girl who loves to give back the love that she receives. 🫶🏼🫶🏼

12-week-old Labrador cross

Meet the class clown, Reid; he is looking for a family to perform his clown acts for.

We expect Reid to be a large boy once fully grown, so he will need a family to guide him through puppyhood and adolescence so he can become the best boy we all know he will be.

He joined a team meeting today, where he was very well-mannered, keeping his focus on the person with the treats and showing his calm side. He even lay down and relaxed for a good portion of the meeting.

Reid gets on well with his fellow adoption members. He hasn't yet been introduced to cats, but considering his age and smarts, with the right introduction and supervision, we don't see there being an issue with cats.

Despite the name we can confirm that is indeed a very cute puppy and not a type of bear. 🐻

Panda is just as cute and is as prone to adorable antics as a Panda bear. Forget bamboo though, he much prefers treats, belly scratches and a good cuddly toy. 🧸

He is a sweet, good natured pup who is ready to meet the world head on and needs someone to help him start his training off on the right foot. 🌏

In 2025 we helped 104 dogs find their forever home. Today we have officially passed that with our 105th adoption dog heading off to her new home (Congratulations Nelly 🎉)

This would not be possible without the hard work of our staff and all the owners who have opened their hearts and home to a new addition this year.

We also want to thank everyone that has liked, commented or shared a post of ours.

Even though we have hit this milestone our work is not yet done and we have plenty more dogs looking for their homes that are waiting for you to come and meet them. 🏠
