A handsome 7-year-old male Springer Spaniel is currently looking for a loving new home and a comfortable couch to call his own. Located in Northwest Auckland, he is available for a rehoming, and the owner will be selective to ensure he goes to the absolute best environment.

He is desexed, fully vaccinated (including kennel cough), and officially registered. This lovely boy absolutely adores other dogs and children. While he has grown up with a cat and around livestock, his strong hunting instincts mean he will naturally chase if not carefully introduced. The owner notes that he will need to be properly shown that these animals are not for chasing.

🐾 **URGENT REHOMING – 1-YEAR-OLD BORDER COLLIE X STAFFY** 🐾

📍 **Location: Christchurch**

This handsome 1-year-old Border Collie x Staffy is urgently looking for a suitable, committed home where he can continue learning and reach his full potential.

He is a high-energy young dog who is currently undergoing training. He can already sit, and his crate training is progressing well. At just one year old, he has plenty of potential to learn and develop with the right guidance, consistency and patience.

Unfortunately, he is currently displaying aggression towards other dogs, so he needs a home without other animals where he can be managed safely and receive the appropriate training and support.

Despite this challenge, he is described as being very loving towards children and people. His current owner has an older dog, and unfortunately, the situation is not working out.

The owner has contacted SPCA and several other rescues but would like to find him a suitable home before his behavioural challenges become more difficult to manage.

He is currently microchipped, and the owner is arranging for him to be desexed. This may help with some hormone-related behaviours, although it cannot be guaranteed to resolve his aggression towards other animals.

🐾 Someone who understands high-energy breeds and can provide plenty of exercise, enrichment and structure.

URGENT REHOMING: BONDED PAIR (SOUTH AUCKLAND)

The owner is seeking a loving, permanent home for two dogs who must be rehomed together.

With a very heavy heart, the owner must rehome these beautiful dogs. This has been an extremely difficult decision. Despite attempting for over a year and attending countless viewings, the owner has been unable to secure suitable rental housing that allows dogs.

The owner is seeking an adopter who can take both dogs together, as they are a bonded pair and cannot be separated.

Details:

Breed: Shar Pei X

Age: 6 years old

Health: Both are spayed. Like many Shar Peis, they experience typical skin allergies/itching, which is well-managed with medication and creams. All current supplies will be provided.

Temperament: Very well-behaved, leash trained, and great in the car. They are friendly with adults and children. They tend to vocalize or "yell" when excited about visitors, but quickly settle down for belly and chest rubs once greeted.

Included: They will come with their food and their full closet of doggy clothes.

Hi everyone,

Thank you, Admin, for accepting this post.

Please meet Taki, a beautiful 2-year-old Bull Terrier cross who is looking for a loving new home.

Taki knows basic te reo Māori, and the owner communicates with him in both te reo Māori and English. He enjoys regular walks and has a funny habit of putting the leash in his mouth and taking his person for a walk! 🥰

Taki is:

🐾 **ROSY IS LOOKING FOR A NEW LOVING HOME – EAST AUCKLAND** 🐾

The owner is looking for a new, loving home for **Rosy**.

The owner was given Rosy unexpectedly as she had been locked in a shed and has had her for roughly **1 week**, keeping her well looked after and happy.

Rosy loves **cuddles and her teddy toys**. Unfortunately, the owner does not have the room to keep her full time as she is a larger breed (**Staffy x Bull Mastiff**) and with work commitments and elderly parents, the owner cannot commit fully to her.

Rosy is **toilet trained**, knows how to **sit** and is approximately **8 months old**.

Her **vet history is unknown**, but she has recently been **deflead**.

Sapphire is a medium-to-high energy girl with a bubbly and affectionate nature. She is very snuggly, loves people and has an adventurous spirit.

She naturally looks to her pack leader for direction and is easily trainable, especially as she is food motivated. She can be a little startled by new things initially, but with patient exposure, guidance and trust in her leader, she is expected to blossom into a pawsome active family dog. 🐶

Sapphire gets along well with other dogs and is **cat trainable**.

She would suit an active family who can provide her with plenty of exercise, positive training, adventure and companionship.

# # # 💛 Capri — Yellow Collar

Capri has a lower energy level and a quieter nature. She can be a little shy when first meeting people, but once she becomes comfortable, the butt wiggles begin! 😄

She would be best suited to a quieter family lifestyle where she can enjoy a more relaxed pace — probably not the mountain-biking type! 😄🐾

Ruby is a beautiful **1½-year-old Collie Cross** looking for a suitable and loving new home.

**About Ruby**

• She is not a working dog, but is **good around stock**
• Good with other dogs
• **Amazing with children**
• Unsure how she is with cats
• Very intelligent
• Listens well and comes when her name is called
• Has been an inside dog

Ruby is a lovely, intelligent girl and is very good with children and other dogs.

The reason Ruby is needing a new home is that when she is left unattended, she continues to chew the owner's daughter's clothing and toys. She has **never damaged the house, walls, doors or anything structural**, only clothing and toys.

The owner is unsure whether this is a behavioural issue, boredom, or something that could be improved with training and the right environment.

Ruby also **cannot be confined in a crate**, as she will become distressed and try to destroy the crate until she gets out.

Other than this, Ruby is a lovely dog. She listens well, comes when called and is very intelligent. She may suit someone who has the time to give her plenty of exercise, stimulation, companionship and ongoing training.

Ruby deserves a responsible home where she can be given the chance to thrive. ❤️
