Meet Ava & Bodhi ❤️💙

5 months old, Shar Pei mixbreeds.
Ava will likely grow to be medium in size and Bodhi large in size.

Ava and Bodhi were handed into Animal Control when they were just 2 months old, their brother Cooper and sister Demi found lovely homes through the pound but sadly Ava and Bodhi haven’t had any serious interest.

They are now in foster homes and have been around a mix of large and small dogs, cats, chickens, young and older kids, and have behaved beautifully.

Training has been a breeze with these two as they love food and are smart pups.
They have been crate trained, are learning to walk on leads and sit nicely for food.

Both are affectionate and social pups and we would love to find them homes where they aren’t left on their own for long periods, somewhere with secure fencing and a warm bed inside at night.

Meet Pango 💙

He’s 1 and a half years old, a Staffy mix breed and medium in size.

Pango has joined the rescue after spending the last 3 months in the pound.
This handsome boy has so many things going for him, but somehow he’s watched many dogs come and go and not had any serious interest himself.
He’s very affectionate, great on a lead, has lovely manners, well behaved around kids, social with every person and dog that he meets. He really is a lovely boy.

Pango’s ideal home would be somewhere he’s not left on his own for long periods, he loves having company whether that be with his people or with another dog.
Somewhere with secure fencing to keep him safe, a warm bed to sleep in at night, and with someone who can give him the time and love he deserves.

Meet Missy and Carlos ❤️💙

Labrador mixbreeds, 2 years old and medium in size.

Missy and Carlos joined the rescue on Friday after 6 months in the pound.
It’s sad how dogs as nice and as well behaved as these two can go so long without finding a home, but hopefully their forever families are reading this and they will find homes soon🤞🏻

Missy and Carlos are siblings who have grown up in the same home and get along nicely.
They have adapted well to being in separate foster homes so we are open to rehoming them together or individually.
They are a little shy initially, but it doesn’t take them long to build confidence.
Both are social with other dogs, but we think Missy is a bit more dominant so she would suit a home with a submissive friend, and could also do well as a solo dog ❤️
We think Carlos could mix well with most dogs, and would also be fine as a solo dog 💙

They walk beautifully on leads, have good manners, seem to understand most commands and are quiet, affectionate dogs.
They really are lovely and it’s hard to understand how they have spent so long in the pound with no interest.

Their ideal home would be somewhere they aren’t left on their own for long periods, have a warm bed inside at night, and a property with secure fencing.
They are both in foster homes with kids, and have been gentle and well behaved.

The cost to adopt would be to cover their vet fees, which we can discuss through private messages.
They are microchipped, registered, des*xed and up to date with their vaccinations and flea and worming.

Sky ❤️

We’ve found homes for Sky’s 8 pups, and now we’re hoping it’s her turn 🤞🏻

Sky’s a 2 year old, husky x and medium in size.

She’s had a tough couple years, 2 years old but already on her 3rd litter, she would roam the streets daily and came into our care underweight with patches of her hair missing from flea allergies.
Despite the neglect she has experienced, Sky’s a beautiful girl, affectionate and friendly with everyone she meets.
She gets on well with other dogs and has shown a playful side with her puppies. We haven’t seen her play with an adult dog yet so we think she would be best suited to a home as a solo dog or with an older calm dog.
However, she’s now in a foster home with 3 other dogs so we will update this if things change.
She wouldn’t suit a home with cats or chickens.

We didn’t get any interest in Sky from our first post, so we asked the talented Renee (instagram- ) if she would help us out, and she kindly gave Sky her very own photo shoot 📸

Sky’s ideal home would be somewhere she’s not left on her own for long periods, with a secure section that can keep her home and safe. A warm bed inside at night, with someone who can give her a daily walk and the love and attention she deserves.

She’s fully vaccinated, registered, microchipped and up to date with her flea and worming.
She’s only recently stopped feeding her pups, so will be des*xed when safe to do so.
We don’t have a set adoption fee but you would need to cover the costs of her vaccinations and des*xing before she is adopted.

Yogi 💙

Yogi’s home has fallen through so he joins his brother Kobe and their mum Sky in looking for their forever families.
(Stevie has found a home ❤️)

He’s 8 weeks old, his mum is a husky mix breed and we don’t know who his dad is. His mum is medium in size and we’re guessing he’s going to grow to be the same.

Yogi’s had his first vaccination, is up to date with his flea and worming and will come registered and microchipped.
The cost of his adoption is his first vaccination plus his des*xing which will need to be booked and paid for before he leaves. (For a later date at a healthy age)

Yogi’s mum Sky is a social girl, well mannered, and friendly with people and other dogs.
Sadly this is her 3rd litter, but we’ve met her previous pups and they have all grown up to be lovely dogs.

Puppies need a lot of your time, patience, and love.
They will need ongoing training, and support from their new family whilst they learn right from wrong and experience things for the first time.

His brother Kobe will be getting his own post soon, as will their mum Sky, as they’ve not had any interest yet.

Stevie & Kobe ❤️💙

We have found homes for 6 out of 8 of Sky’s pups, who will all start heading off to their new homes soon.
For Stevie and Kobe, the search continues.
We went to their foster home today to try and get some new photos of them, which was both fun and challenging 😁

Stevie(female) and Kobe(male) are 7 weeks old, their mum is a husky mix and we don’t know who their dad is.
Sky is a medium sized dog and our guess is the pups will grow to be medium too.

Puppies need a lot of your time, patience, and love.
They will need ongoing training, and support from their new family whilst they learn right and wrong and experience things for the first time.

They’ve had their first vaccination, are up to date with flea and worming and will need a des*xing appointment booked in and paid for before they go to their new home. (For a future date when they are at a healthy age to be des*xed). The adoption fee is the cost of their first vaccination and the des*xing.

Meet Sky and her 8 very cute pups ❤️

Sky’s a husky mix, medium in size and roughly 2-3 years old.

Sky’s an amazing mum, she’s only a young dog herself but sadly this is her 3rd litter that we’re aware of.
But the good news is this will be her last, and we can hopefully find her the perfect home that can give her what’s she’s been missing in her life so far- to keep her safe and off the streets, a warm bed to sleep inside at night, and lots of love and attention.

Sky is fine in the company of other dogs, she’s not so interested in playing so we think she would suit a home as a solo dog or with an older/calm dog.
We haven’t seen her around cats, but she has a high prey drive with birds so a home without chickens etc is needed.
Great around kids and hasn’t shown us anything to worry about around people or other dogs.
She needs a bit of work with her training and we don’t think she’s ever been on a lead before, but she loves food so we’re hoping she’ll pick up training quickly.

Sky’s pups- 5 weeks old, we don’t know who their dad is, likely to grow to be medium possibly medium to large in size.

Taking on any dog is a big commitment, so please have a good think about whether you can provide them with everything they need for the next 10+ years.
We are taking interest in Sky and her pups now, but they won’t be ready to leave mum until they are at least 8 weeks.

Sky has been vaccinated and will be des*xed when safe to do so on our vets recommendation.
All pups will have at the very least, their first vaccination. They will be too young to be des*xed but that is a requirement when adopting from us so an appointment will need to be booked in and paid for, for a later date, before they are adopted.

Sky and her pups are being fostered with an experienced and awesome family in the Waikato.

*Urgent Foster Home needed*

**FOSTER HOME NEEDED FOR MUM AND ALL 8 PUPS TOGETHER. WE’RE NOT TAKING INTEREST IN ADOPTIONS AT THE MOMENT**

We have 8 puppies(3 weeks old) and their mum who we are needing to get out of the pound asap.

Due to issues with the previous owner I won’t be posting photos of mum on here initially, but if you’re interested in helping then send me a private message and I can share more information and photos.

This poor mum is on her 3rd litter that we are aware of, and still such a young age herself.

She’s a little timid and scared initially, but doesn’t take very long to warm up to you. She is a very affectionate girl who is in desperate need of some love and kindness.

She’s lived with other dogs and roamed the streets with many other dogs from her old neighborhood, and has never shown any aggression that I am aware of.
But she will have her puppies with her so potentially could be protective around them when other dogs are near by.
A home with another dog is possible if it’s the right home that can keep her separate from the resident dog whilst she’s with her puppies.

We would supply everything you need so there will be no costs for yourself, but looking after puppies isn’t easy so please have a good think about whether you can help. They will need a warm, safe space to sleep.
A secure property where they are not going to be left on their own for long periods, and your time and commitment to help mum get through the next 7-9 weeks.
We’re looking for someone experienced with dogs and young pups.

We don’t want them to spend all that time in the pound so please reach out if you think you can help.
Based in the Waikato area but happy to travel further out for the right home.

*Rocky and Annie urgently need our help*

Rocky and Annie have both been in the pound for a long time now, many months have gone by and they are still no closer to finding their forever home.
Unfortunately they are now running out of time and we need to try and find them either a foster home, or even better, a permanent home.

Rocky 💙
7-8 years old, male, medium in size and a mix breed.
Rocky would suit a home without cats and as a solo dog.
He’s an affectionate boy, smart and knows commands.
Despite getting on in years hes still very active and likes to play and chase balls.
Secure fencing would be a requirement and a home that can offer him a warm bed inside.

Annie ❤️
Just over a year old, female, medium in size and a mix breed.
Annie would thrive in an active household, somewhere with a decent sized area to run around and play.
She gets on well with the boys in the pound but can be a bit too playful, so either a home as a solo dog or with another dog that can handle her play.
No cats or small animals for Annie.
She’s smart, affectionate and loves toys.

Both of them are lovely dogs and in the right homes they will thrive. They deserve that chance and have been waiting so patiently.
If you’re interested in either Rocky or Annie then please have a good think whether you have the time and property to welcome a new dog.
They are running out of time but we don’t want to see them back in the pound so we want to make sure we get them the right home.
