REES RIVER PRO IS BACK! 🐴

Available from 1st October 2026, this 3 hour ride is open for experienced riders only, with 9am and 2pm departures on demand.

Our Rees River Pro is for our riders wanting a chance to pick up the pace through some of New Zealand’s most breathtaking alpine landscapes.

Our Pro team of horses are a mixture of Standardbred’s and Stationbred’s who know their job and the Glenorchy terrain very well! 🤍

2026/27 JOB OPPORTUNITIES! 🐴🤍

With our summer season just around the corner, we are looking for an array of passionate, competent horse trekking guides to join our team in Glenorchy.

From our 1 hour Rees River & Paradise rides to 5 Day backcountry adventures, we have it all. After our training segments, guides will be selected for either department.

Our 2026/27 Season will run from Mid August - Early April with the potential for ongoing employment beyond the summer season onwards.

⭐️ WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

- Minimum of 5 years horse experience - working in a similar role or business structure advantageous

- Must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand (Unfortunately we do not offer sponsorships)

-Customer service experience and ability to apply these skills to the role is required

- Strong work ethic with a can do attitude and a great sense of humour is a must!

- Full driver’s license and reliable transportation

- Comprehensive Workplace First Aid Certificate (minimum) or equivalent

- Ability to be adaptable and work in a fast paced environment

⭐️ Accomodation provided - reasonable rent price to be determined.

⭐️ Couples are well sought after!
