Yesterday Bas was lucky to have Skye from our Wairoa Farm Vets team here to help with some calf disbudding. Each calf was kept comfortable and happy throughout the procedure. Calves are disbudded to prevent horn-related injuries from occurring and to make handling easier when they're older 🐮

Thank you to the local Beef + Lamb New Zealand team for inviting us along to the Shepherd’s Dog Training and Health Day at Awapuni Station last Friday.
It was great to spend some time talking about working dog health and welfare, answering questions and sharing practical advice to help keep these hardworking members of the farm team healthy and fit for the job.
We appreciate the opportunity to be part of the day 😃
