Hi my name is Sue, I provide a dog walking service right here in Gisborne 4010. Im a full-time mum of 3, Katelyn, Lewis and Keanu, and together we will care for your best friend. Im a quilified DIP Veterinary nurse and I worked across Auckland, in small animal clinics, pet shops, VSG (student), equine specilist hospital, emergency afterhours, to working in a mixed practice clinic on Waiheke Island

. I would often care for our client pets while owners went on holiday, in Parnell, North shore and Waiheke Island, retiring from vet nursing in 2013 as I devoted my life to raising my daughter and moving overseas then having my 2 sons. In 2019 I moved to Gisborne with my 3 children to be closer to whanau. In 2021, Aunty Sues Dog Walking and servies was created to reignite a deep passion in dog handling and horsemenship.

happy dogs dont need to sound like a room full of talking and seeking attention...

This is a mental work out, somewhere different, something out of the ordinary to explore!

We had bulk units trucks , 🚒 👩‍🚒 🚒 training, and cyclist in the distance making videos...

Its always interesting to see what happens in our structured walks....

Some of my buddies have had issues and its such an amazing feeling to see where they are today and journey we have been on.

Its recognition- partnership - ownership- responsibilities, with dog owners... you guys rock!

They keep me busy.... 🙏😜 thank you 😊

Its been a pleasure working with everyone, dealing with individual troubles over the past 12mths.

It takes alot of courage to begin their healing process and reprogramming... its not a quick fix.

Obedience is one thing but when you have dogs that have come from rescue situations its completely a different game plan.. but then we as humans can accidentally create problems...

But we have 8 in the pack today and we all did so well...

Proud to announce Katelyn Rangiwai will be joining Aunty Sues Dog Walking and Services and building her little unique group of individuals.

She will be looking for well behaved, all basic training established but not necessary (as she will be under my full supervision)...

Tonight one of my kuri "Tai" has a bit of everything, because these treats are 100% real...

Its been a working progress building 👷‍♀️ my to do list!

Although training is a pathway to success and successful outcomes.. its been something I work on in the background all the time.

Understanding your dogs needs is always our worst nightmare. We are always worrying about how to get it right. But here you are watching, following hoping to gain some online tricks and tips. There are plenty of channels available, and they have amazing explanations.

But I am here to say there is nothing more raw than doing it with someone in person. Dog training hasn't been at the forefront of my business as this requires training the dog owner, and being time poor has been a huge barrier. Being a full time mum, a wife, a nurse, animal care giver and volunteer across many community activities its no wonder time plays a huge factor.

Without diving too deep into things. Here is my view on providing what I believe is a great service.
