Canvas and recycled 100% vintage wool blanket dog jackets available (handmade by me)

sizes available (base of the neck to start of the tail).
Extra small $50 (36cm - suit a fox terrier, schnauzer etc)
Small $55 (46cm - suit a small heading dog, smaller spaniel)
Medium $60 (51cm - suit a smaller sized huntaway, medium heading dog)
Large $65 (56cm back length - suit medium size huntaway, large heading dog vizsla, average Labrador etc).
Extra large $70 (62cm back length- suit large huntaway, German shepherd, golden retriever etc).
One layer of waterproof canvas, one layer of a second hand 100% wool blanket. Two straps around the girth with 38mm plastic side release clips. Velcro and a 25mm side release clip around the chest.

Handcrafted by myself, so slight variations with each jacket. Wool blankets are second hand, so expect the odd small imperfection.
Can customise with metal buckle (surcingle) or Velcro strap (instead on plastic clip)

Meet the model - this handsome model is Jock. Jock came to us as a young neglected dog. He hadn’t been looked after and was malnourished. We managed to fatten him up and has been part of the team for the last 10 years. Jock is now retired, and spends his days at home with the odd trip out to head sheep without using his ears. Jock has had some pretty horrific injuries over the years, as is part of the job when you are a tenacious heading dog who likes getting up in the grill of a beef cow. His de-gloving and subsequent toe amputation resulted in medical retirement in 2023.
Jock loves the girls and watching our cat.

New heavier cotton canvas (18oz) has arrived and I’ve been busy sewing them up into beds ready for your dogs this winter. Like all things inflation has hit the canvas (and freight of it) world, so there is a new price list (see pinned post). Colour options are olive green and navy blue.
Keep your dogs warm this winter, happy dog, happy life.
