When I first started doing the markets, one of the very first stalls I befriended was Fernside Microfarm 🌱🚜
Michael welcomed me to the market with a cheeky grin and oodles of advice. Each week he would critique my setup, telling me what looked good and what I could improve. He taught me the ins and outs of customer flow and how to adapt to changing weather conditions. Years of yarning and support have helped me grow into a confident stallholder.
If you don’t see Michael at the market, you’ll likely see his beautiful wife Hayley 😍 A woman with the sweetest soul and the best listening ear. Our bond has been built through relatable mum chats, ranging from sleep deprivation to the joy we share in our babies’ achievements.
At their stall, they sell a range of delicious, fresh microgreens, either as individual varieties or a generous mixed blend. After a week of baking and taste testing sweet treats, they are always my first stop when I need to add some nutrient-dense goodness back into my diet.
