🎉 WE'RE TURNING 5! 🎉

Five years ago, we planted our very first tray of microgreens with a simple idea: grow good food, close to home, for good people.

This July, Fernside Microfarm celebrates 5 incredible years, and we want to say a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who has been part of our journey. 💚

To our customers who have visited us rain or shine, trusted us with your meals, and shared countless farmers market conversations ... thank you. You are the reason we get up early every day.

To our amazing supporters, market organisers, local cafés, restaurants, wineries, and stockists ... thank you for believing in a little microfarm and helping us grow.

And to our wonderful staff, past and present ... thank you. Your hard work, care, and dedication have built Fernside Microfarm into what it is today.

Over the last five years, we've:
🌱 Attended more than 1,000 farmers' markets
🌱 Hand-washed 104,000 growing trays
🌱 Nurtured 138,000 litres of growing medium
🌱 Made countless friendships along the way

That last one is the achievement we're most proud of.

To celebrate, join us at the Matariki markets from 3–5 July for a birthday special on our tiny, but mighty microgreens!

Happy Anzac day for this Saturday.
This week we are only attending the Ohoka farmers market. (Friday 9-12:30)

Due to Anzac Day the markets we attend have a different approach on how to trade on the day, given this we have decided to have a well deserved weekend off.
