We are finishing up Vet Nurse and Vet Tech Awareness Week with our Emergency Nurses 🥳

The regional weekend emergency clinic operates from our clinic during weekends and public holidays.

In an ideal world, you’ll never need them, but if you do, know that they’re highly skilled in emergency medicine. They provide emergency care for pets who have sudden illness or serious injuries outside of normal clinic hours.

It's Vet Nurse and Vet Tech Awareness Week! 🥳

Today we're celebrating our Vet Techs – they support our production animal vets and are often found out on farm, where they are helping our clients with vaccinating, metrichecking, disbudding calves, teatsealing, pregnancy scanning and a whole lot more.

When they’re in clinic, you can usually find them in the lab, where they're testing everything from grass to faecal samples.

It's Vet Nurse and Vet Tech Awareness Week! 🥳

Today, we’re giving you a closer look at our referrals nursing team (they’re the team behind our specialist vets)

Our ophthalmology nurses assist with eye procedures and manage post-operative care.

The medicine nurses assist with diagnostics for the cases referred and support treatment plans for some of our most challenging cases.

Our surgery nurses have advanced knowledge in anaesthesia, surgical nursing, and patient monitoring. They support our specialist vet team in complex procedures.

A new arrival to our specialist team is André, our anaesthesia technician. He is an expert in the field and is the team's go-to for patients with complex needs who require anaesthesia.

It's Vet Nurse and Vet Tech Awareness Week! 🥳

Today, we're highlighting our GP Nurses 🩺, the heart of the clinical practice team.

Ash, our consult nurse, is the centre of pet wellness at our clinic. She’s the expert in weight management and dental checks, and she leads our happy visit program.

Our surgery nurses assist vets during surgical procedures. A huge part of their role is monitoring anaesthesia.

Our inpatient nurses care for our hospitalised patients - they are the ones monitoring and medicating them, and giving them loads of TLC 🥰 during their with us.

It's Vet Nurse and Vet Tech Awareness Week! 🥳

We are taking the opportunity to showcase our amazing team and give you a behind-the-scenes look at the work they actually do. First up are our fantastic Vet Nurse Assistants!

VNA's help the clinic run smoothly. They keep our companion animal hospital clean and stocked, and care for our patients by giving them food, medication and exercise.

They are the extra pair of hands who assist the nurses and vets with day-to-day care and generally make sure everything is ready when it's needed.
