🐾 Hey Dunedin - meet Emmi 🐾

This gorgeous girl is looking for a loving forever home.

Emmi is approximately two years old and came to us from Cat Rescue Dunedin. She's incredibly friendly and absolutely loves being cuddled in your arms. Once she's settled in, we think she'll make the perfect lap cat for someone looking for a loyal feline companion. ❤️

We're not sure how Emmi is with dogs or young children, but she should be fine with other cats given a slow and proper introduction. While an indoor home would be ideal, it's not essential.

To help her settle into her new home, Emmi comes with a Royal Canin cat pack, including 400g of Royal Canin Sensible Dry Cat Food and a voucher for her first two bags of Royal Canin dry food (conditions apply).

UPDATE: SUSHI HAS FOUND HIS HOME ❤️

Dear Dunedin. Meet Sushi, our adorable 5-month-old rescue kitten who is ready to roll into his forever home! 🐱❤️

Sushi comes with unlimited cuddles, expert biscuit-making skills, and a whole lot of purr-sonality. He's been vet checked, vaccinated, desexed, microchipped, and is up to date with flea and worm treatments - all wrapped up and ready to go.

Sushi is a friendly wee chap who loves people and isn't shy about asking for a cuddle. While we're not quite sure how he feels about other cats, dogs, or young children, we think with the right introductions he'll fit right in.

Team pet profile: Meet McKenzie and her furry family! 🐾

When she's not helping customers at Nichol's Pet Centre in Cromwell and Dunedin, McKenzie is kept busy by a lively household of four-legged companions.

First up is Lulu, her 11-year-old tabby cat. Lulu is an expert sun-seeker who can usually be found curled up in the warmest spot in the house. She enjoys cuddles on her own terms and loves being part of family couch time although she's quick to remind the dogs when she's had enough of their attention!

Bear, an 8-year-old Mastiff cross, joined the family after being rescued from the Animal Rehab Centre in Alexandra in 2019. After meeting him at Nichol's Cromwell, it was love at first sight. Despite his size, Bear is a gentle giant who loves staying close to his humans and particularly enjoys a vigorous towel rub after bath time.

Jupiter, a 4-year-old Kelpie, brings plenty of energy to the household. He loves long walks (always accompanied by his favourite toy), quick cuddles, and keeping a watchful eye on Lulu as she naps in the sun. Loyal and full of personality, Jupiter also takes his role as dinner-time supervisor very seriously!

Currently staying with the family is Fergus, a 2-year-old Huntaway cross who seems to have springs attached to his feet. He loves playing with Bear and Jupiter, but nothing gets him more excited than seeing his dad, Pete.

With a crew like this at home, it's safe to say McKenzie is as passionate about pets and is a valued member of our team. 🐶🐱
