This is the other August 2023 litter! 😍 The smooth-headed one who looks like a serious little accountant is Rupert, father of our most recent two litters. 😁🥰

August is birthday month for our very first two litters! Born ten days apart, and faaaaaar out that was a busy time!! 🤪😮‍💨 I’ve been taking a wee trip down memory lane, and although this video is on our website, for some reason I never shared it on here?! 🤷‍♀️ So here it is now! Millie and Alfie’s litter, born 3/8/23. 🥰

Sweet little Oats left us last weekend! And now his name is NOODLE! 😍 (I LOVE dogs with food names!!! 🥹)

People kept asking me why nobody wanted him - it’s not that nobody wanted him! Actually a lot of people wanted him, but it was just a very slow process: the people I was contacting about him were a long way down the waitlist and not expecting to be offered a puppy just yet, so needed some thinking time, and for some it was too soon. But he’s landed an AMAZING family, that I am very excited about, and he’s got a fantastic life ahead of him! 🤩

It was actually really lovely having him here for an extra week on his own - he just slotted right in! And now being back to the usual four, it sort of feels like somebody is missing!

So that’s a wrap for us for puppies this year! Just the one wee litter, unfortunately, but more to come next year. 😁 Vague details are on our website - sorry we can’t be very specific just yet!

Will try to post updates of how these wee ones are getting on in the coming months. 🤍

You should have seen me this morning, running around like a mad thing, trying to herd five reluctant dogs (including Reggie and Oats, who have never seen this kind of weather in their whole short little lives) outside to go to the toilet in a hail storm at 6:30am. 😂 Poor things. 😣🥶Thankfully it calmed down pretty quickly and the little ones got brave enough to explore! Wonder if the other little puppies around Dunedin are finding out about hail and snow today?! Pleeease post your pics on here - we’d LOVE to see them!! 🤩 🐶 ⛄️

Charlie (was Lentil) and Ozzy (was Barley) left us yesterday, and I started the Big Cleanup™️. 😮‍💨 😅 While I was washing my carpet I was thinking about these fantastic families I have been lucky to get to know over the last 5 or 6 weeks as they’ve been visiting their puppies and watching them grow, and imagining them having their first official day as puppy owners. 🥰🥹🤩💕 So fun!! I told them their puppies were superstars at sleeping through the night, too - hope they’re not making me a liar!!! 🫣 Be good, little pups!! You’re going to have the best lives. 🥰

And then there were three!! 🐶🐶🐶

Big day today as three of our wee pups headed off to their new homes! 🥰

Quinoa is now NITA, and has done her first big road trip, up to Christchurch!

Peanut is now LEO, and is staying in Dunedin!

And Chickpea is now JUNIPER, and is also hanging around Dunedin! 😁

Just a wee heads up….ONE of the remaining boy puppies (Barley or Oats) MIGHT still be available, but I’m not sure which one yet. 😅 But please do get in touch if you’re interested. 🥰

I tried feeding these wee fellas their dinner tonight in individual small bowls instead of having to eat out of the one big sharing bowl…..they didn’t get it. 🙃😆

Suuuch tired puppies - they’ve done LOTS of playing (and destroying pot plants 😑) today! Only one actually made it into bed before clocking out for the day! 😂🥰

It has been a hot minute since I posted anything here!!! 😮‍💨 Sorry. 😞 Life reeeeaaallly got in the way, and you haven’t seen these babies growing up and all the things they’ve been up to! 🥺

Here they are TODAY - look how big they are now! (Nephews and nieces for scale.) I’d better get posting a lot over these next few days, because the first ones start leaving us NEXT WEEKEND! 🤯

L-R: Oats, Lentil, Chickpea, Barley, Peanut, Quinoa. (That’s the puppies’ names. The children have human names.)
