Its Vet Nurse Appreciation Week! 🥰

This week, we celebrate our incredible veterinary nurses who are the heart of our Nova team. From comforting nervous patients and supporting worried owners to assisting with procedures, monitoring anaesthesia, and keeping everything running behind the scenes—they do it all with skill, compassion, and dedication.

Summer, Ellie, Steph, Chloe - Thank you for the long hours, gentle hands, endless patience, and unwavering commitment to the animals in your care. Nova and the fur babies of Auckland appreciate you more than words can say!

The seasons are changing, the weather is warming up, and that means more adventures and outdoor time with your furry companions!

But with more exploring comes a greater chance of those unexpected little accidents.

That’s why we’ve put together an at-home pet first aid kit to help you be prepared when your furry friend needs some immediate care. 🩹

Inside, you’ll find practical first-aid essentials, along with an informative guide explaining what’s included and how to use the kit appropriately.

You can also customise your kit and add medical-grade mānuka honey spray for an extra wound-care option. Medical-grade mānuka honey is used topically in veterinary wound management, particularly for minor wounds, although it’s important to remember that serious, deep, heavily bleeding or infected injuries need veterinary attention.
