Allied Forage was born from the current supplement market in the wider Auckland area being starved of high quality, high energy hay and balage. The frustration of witnessing poor quality feed being sold and traded at the detriment of happy healthy livestock and horses has driven Matt and Sam to produce high quality products animals deserve. Wow what a “summer” Shades of 2023 with less then 8% of January’s usual sunshine.

Currently waiting out ground conditions to dry before getting hay done. With rain forecast for Monday/Tuesday then hopefully more sun to follow

We are still on track to fufill all our pre orders

40-30% moisture content - a nice well weighted bale but not wet

Browntop, Yorkshire Fog, Red clover, Persian Clover, Prairie Grass and Hilary Fescue - cream of the crop feed

Inoculated with BioStart to aid in fermentation uptake and reduce yeast and fungi.

Wrapped with 30micron Silawrap for a durable protection to prevent spoilage.
