Well spring is officially here!

As much as we love the extra daylight hours it does bring challenges for some horses with the quick growing new grass.

We stock Duwell Tox Tame to help those horses affected as well as Duwell liquid and chelated Magnesium.

Also with the warm and wet crazy weather we’re seeing a few fungal infections.

We have some selected Honey Trap products in stock
Sulphur wash bar which is a great easy way to help keep skin healthy, active manuka honey and their wound spray for any problem issues.

We have Hoof juice antibacterial and antifungal treatment for chronic thrush, seedy toe and abscesses. Hoof putty for any cracks or white line disease and hoof abscesses.

If you’re looking to get saddles and boots ready for the upcoming season, we have Honey Trap Leather Cleaner and Leather Witch conditioner.

Kaipara Farm Vets is looking for a friendly, organised and reliable Receptionist to join our team in Dargaville on a 6-month maternity leave cover, with the possibility of extension.

This is a great opportunity to join a busy large animal veterinary practice and be part of a friendly, supportive team working with our farming clients and their animals.

The role:
📅 Monday – Friday
⏰ 8:00am – 5:00pm
🕐 40 hours per week
📆 6-month fixed-term position, with possibility of extension

As our receptionist, you’ll be an important part of the day-to-day running of the practice. You’ll be the first point of contact for our clients, answering phones and enquiries, booking appointments, assisting with administration and supporting our veterinary team.

We’re looking for someone who:

Is friendly, approachable and professional
Has excellent communication and customer service skills
Is organised and enjoys a busy environment
Can multitask and work well under pressure
Is a positive team player
Has an interest in animals and the rural veterinary industry
Farming knowledge would be an advantage, but is not essential.
