Woodlea Contracting Lifestyle block contractors, covering a multitude of services from hay and baleage cutting to fencing and digger works.

Small farm offering agricultural services, including but not limited to, paddock fencing, horse yards, temporary farm staff cover and of course we have our hay and baleage for sale, delivery is possible if multiple bales bought.

Grass is ok (I’ll be keeping it aside for our horses!) it’s just a bit longer than what we would typically store and sell from the yard and taking into account the cost it’ll be to purchase from the yard after transport and stacking we’d rather only keep top quality grass for on-selling.

Just your yearly reminder to lift the bonnet everytime you drive, car, Ute, truck, tractor… anything that moves, birds like to nest out of sight and nests will cause a fire in the wrong place.

Baling Updates

We have a fine week ahead of us and are getting ahead of the curve and dropping grass, we will be doing both minis and rounds, the minis for the first cut are relatively close to Carterton and Greytown so if anyone else would like to get a cut off early to lock up again let us know!

Round π›πšπ₯𝐞𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐝𝐞π₯𝐒𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐒𝐞𝐬 will be heading out.
π…π’π«πžπ°π¨π¨π splitting - This is seasoned but rain wet so if anyone wanted to top their sheds up to get through the last of the weather this may work well, it simply needs 10 days or so to dry out.
Laura will also be out with the π₯𝐒𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐜𝐀 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐒π₯𝐞𝐫 so if anyone needs any animals shifting please don’t hesitate to pop us a message!

We are on the search for a part time/ temporary or fill in driver for the season, hours can vary and can be flexible for the right candidate.

Must have;

- Full drivers license
- Preferably experience during a grass season but competent tractor driver essential
- Team player

Our busiest time tends to be November/ December so must be available during those months.

We do have the option of a live in shared accomodation if it was needed.
