And with all the wet weather and the spring winds starting early it’s time to think about booking in some paddock TLC with a bit of rolling.
If you’re wanting cuts of baleage then ideally you’ll want to be locking (or locked) up already, when the paddocks are fully chewed out it’s also a great time to have a quick walk around, check for anything in the paddock that would need marking or moving before tractors & mowers come in during spring.

Side note - Our roller is both wide and heavy therefore we do need a minimum of 12ft gate access.

We are a small contractor based in Carterton, NZ and operate a small range of baling equipment, we focus on lifestyle blocks bailing plenty mini Baleage and Conventional hay.

We can adjust our dividing door to allow more or less room depending on the numbers and sizes of animals.

A very over- due post but we’ve said good-bye to our awesome boys from this season.

Hopefully it’s not goodbye forever as Matt really wants his favourite come-back comment to continue whenever anyone messages him with a problem of β€œI miss Archie”.

Thank you so much for all your hard work this season boys - Matt misses you both Muchly already!
