We’ve taken a very selective approach to buying yearlings to race ourselves — and it’s one we’re confident in. Fly Zenno, now a Group-performed 3YO filly heading to next weekend’s Group 2 Fillies Classic at Te Rapa, and Lawless Rascal, a 2YO c**t we think a lot of who could be making his race debut in the next few months.

This year, we were delighted to come away from Karaka with two c**ts we really like:
Slide 1: From Book 1, Lot 481 — a striking Tarzino c**t out of I Am Grande (I Am Invincible), secured for $55k. He’s a scopey, athletic c**t who looks every bit a future derby horse.

Slide 2: From Book 2, Lot 656 — a powerful Sword of State c**t out of Tighten Me Up, purchased for $70k. Tighten Me Up comes from a family we know well through Lady Kipling, and this c**t really caught our eye.
