🏡✨ BIG NEWS! ✨🏡

After more than 10 years of The Villa Canine Boutique being based here in Templeton, we have a pretty big change coming…

WE’VE SOLD OUR HOUSE! 🎉

And even more excitingly, our new home is officially confirmed — we’re heading to 126 Adams Road, just this side of West Melton! 🥰

The good news for my gorgeous four-legged clients is that I’m not going anywhere! 😂 The Villa Canine Boutique is coming with us.

We’ll be here in Templeton and open for business as usual right through until the end of November, so there’s plenty of time for lots more muddy paws, hairy dogs and grooming chats before we pack up the salon.

Then it’s just a short move down the road — less than 10 minutes — and we’ll be welcoming everyone into our new home and salon. ❤️

I’m incredibly excited about this next chapter. It’s a big change, but after so many years here in Templeton, it feels pretty special that we’re not going far. I can’t wait to show you all our new place!

And for all my West Melton clients… looks like I’m finally going to be properly local! 😉

🎀 Happy 6th Birthday, Dotty! 🎀

Yesterday was a very special groom for this gorgeous girl — Dotty came in for her 6th birthday groom, so of course we had to add a little extra birthday sparkle with a celebratory bow! 💕✨

I’ve had the pleasure of grooming for this gorgeous family for 10 years now, so it’s pretty special to have watched the next generations grow up too. 🥰

Dotty was looking very pleased with herself after her birthday makeover, while her daughter Flossy was taking the much more sensible approach… finding a comfy spot and relaxing! 😂💕

Happy 6th birthday, beautiful Dotty! 🎂🐾🎀 Here’s to many more years of gorgeous grooms and special milestones. ❤️

❄️ Winter grooming dilemma… 🐾

“Do we really need to groom them? It’s too cold to clip them!”
…said every fluffy dog owner in winter. 😂

But then comes the mud. The wet walks. The soggy paws. The coat that somehow collects half the backyard.

That’s where a mini groom can be the perfect middle ground.

✨ A tidy-up without taking away all their winter fluff
✨ Feet, face, hygiene areas and those messy bits that need attention

Louie came in for his regular groom—nice and short, just how his mum likes it. Easy care, but still stylish! Then I popped his jersey back on before he headed home. (The bling collar was non-negotiable, of course. 😉)

Does your dog happily wear a jersey, or do they suddenly forget how to walk the moment you put one on? 😂👇 🐕

🛑Roadworks Update!🛑
Kirk road is now fully open from Main South road in both directions! Woohoo! 🥳
However a little birdie told me yesterday you cannot get to us via Pound road/Waterloo road as it is one way heading into town from Kirk road.
Parking is back to normal on the road! 🙌
The end is in sight and our road is basically back to normal. Phew!

🛑Roadworks Update!🛑
Currently there is no access to Kirk road from Main South road in either direction.
You can get to us via Pound road to Waterloo road or Kirk road from the north, then following the detour around the block to get back to us via the one way system. Jones road/Railway terrace is also now open.
Pease park round the corner on Mahoe street.
