Our annual Champagne Racing Open Day is back for 2026! 🤍💙

Join Anna and the team from 10.30am on Saturday 19 September at our Riccarton stable in Christchurch, with the chance to meet our lovely horses, staff members and to check out the facilities!

All are welcome, from our long-time owners, to supporters and racing enthusiasts.

Christchurch trainer Anna Furlong will be keeping a keen eye on the progress of promising three-year-old Spill It after the talented youngster was sold to Australia following his impressive Riccarton victory earlier this month.

We are absolutely stoked & so proud of QUINTABELLE - a stunning winner of the Gr.3 Winning Edge Presentations Winter Cup! 🏆

In an 18-horse field, Quinn was ridden perfectly by Toni Davies, who allowed to find her feet in the running before coming wide and unleashing a powerful sprint in heavy conditions. She was a multiple stakes placegetter as a three and four-year-old and has furnished into a beautiful older mare, picking up her first black-type win as a six-year-old 💙

A massive thank you to Robert Dennis Racing, who selected this girl for just $25k at Karaka and supported Anna all the way through, alongside her wonderful big syndicate of owners. Such a thrill to share this with you all!

This was Anna's first Group win after a number at Listed level, and to be at home at Riccarton Park made it all the more special.

Not to be outdone by Quinn, three-year-old SPILL IT was really impressive earlier in the 3YO 1200m contest, winding up strongly to win at just his second start. Congratulations to the Lines family, he is a lovely young horse with a bright future ahead!

Canasta rounded out our day with a close-up fourth in a competitive Rating 75 over 1400m 👏🏽

Thank you to our dedicated staff at home, our vet Alisa Smith, our super farriers, and everyone that has been involved in this girl's career so far. A super way to start the season, long may it continue 💙
