🐾📺 Jordan’s day at Harewood! 📺🐾
Jordan came in to see us recently for his castrate and, while he was waiting for his procedure, he found the purr-fect way to keep himself entertained… CAT TV! 🐦🐱😂
With a comfy bed, some cosy blankets and birds to watch on the screen, Jordan was more than happy to settle in and enjoy his entertainment. 🥰
We think he may have been a little disappointed when it was time to turn the TV off and get down to business! 😂✂️
Such a gorgeous boy, and we loved having you stay with us, Jordan! 💙🐾

🐾💙 NATIONAL PET OBESITY DAY 💙🐾

Did you know that carrying a little extra weight can have a BIG impact on your pet’s health? 🐶🐱

Today is a great reminder to check in on our furry friends and make sure they’re feeling their best! 🐾

Extra weight can increase the risk of health problems such as:
🐾 Arthritis and joint pain
🐾 Diabetes
🐾 Heart and breathing difficulties
🐾 Reduced energy and mobility

💙 So, what can we do to help?
🦴 Keep treats in moderation (we know those puppy-dog eyes are hard to resist! 👀)
🐕 Make time for regular walks and playtime
🥣 Feed the right portion sizes for your pet
⚖️ Keep an eye on their weight and body condition
🩺 Chat with your vet team if you’re unsure what a healthy weight looks like for your pet.

Remember, every pet is different, and maintaining a healthy weight is about helping them live a happier, healthier and more comfortable life — not just a number on the scales! ❤️

Our nurses also run weight loss clinics so they can put you in the right direction. 👩

Not sure if your pet is at a healthy weight? The team at Harewood Veterinary Hospital is always happy to help! 🐾💙

🎓🐾 Another group of Puppy Preschool graduates! 🐾🎓

What a class this was! We’ve loved watching these six little personalities grow, learn and have plenty of fun along the way! 💕🐶

🥹 Freddy – our BIG sook who just loves a little extra attention!
💪 Oaty – tiny but mighty and definitely not letting his size hold him back!
⚡ Chapo – absolutely full of beans and always ready for the next adventure!
🎀 Bella – the only girl in the class, holding her own amongst all the boys! 👑
🦴 Jonesy – very protective of his treat lady Britni… those treats (and Britni!) are HIS! 😂
👀 Leo – our resident treat stealer… if there was a treat within reach, Leo was probably already planning his next move! 🤣 (no photo included)

We are so proud of all six of our graduates! 🎓❤️ It’s been so much fun getting to know each of their very different personalities.

Well done Freddy, Oaty, Chapo, Bella, Jonesy & Leo! 🐾👏

We can’t wait to see you all back at Harewood Vets as you continue growing into your big personalities! 🥰

🐾💙 VET NURSE APPRECIATION WEEK! 💙🐾

This week is all about celebrating the amazing veterinary nurses who keep our clinic running, our patients comfortable, and our clients feeling supported. 🥰

We are SO lucky to have Britni, Mel, Debbie & Erin as part of our Harewood Veterinary Hospital family! 🐶🐱💕

From cuddles and treats, to assisting with surgery, caring for hospital patients, helping with consults, keeping everything clean and organised, answering questions, comforting worried pets and doing all the little things that often go unnoticed — our nurses do SO much every single day. 🩺✨

And of course, it wouldn’t be Harewood without the laughs, the chaos, the endless amount of fur and the very important job of giving out treats! 😂🐾

Britni, Mel, Debbie & Erin — thank you for the compassion, dedication, patience and care you show our patients and their families every day. We couldn’t do it without you! ❤️

Please join us in giving our fabulous nurses some love this Vet Nurse Appreciation Week! 🥰🐾

✍️ Louie’s big day! ✂️🐾

Our handsome boy Louie recently came back to Harewood Veterinary Hospital for his desexing… aka the day he lost his manhood! 😂💙

Louie is also a very special patient because he’s a Puppy Preschool graduate! 🥰 It’s always so lovely seeing our Puppy Preschool graduates come back to visit us as they grow up.

And Louie was especially excited to see his favourite nurse… his “girlfriend” Britni! 😍💕 He was very happy to have Britni looking after him for the day and clearly remembered exactly who the treat lady was! 😂

He was such a good boy and was very well looked after by the team. 🥰🐾

We love seeing our Puppy Preschool graduates back in the clinic! ❤️
