There’s something pretty special about these animals 💙

We spend every day with them - feeding them, working them, caring for them and getting to know every little part of their personalities. They’re beautiful animals, but yesterday was also a reminder of just how quickly things can go wrong around horses.

Mark was involved in an accident yesterday and, while he has a bit of recovering ahead of him, we’re incredibly thankful things weren’t worse.

We’ve been overwhelmed by the messages, phone calls and well wishes that have come through for Mark and our family. Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to reach out - it genuinely means a lot to all of us.

The horses, of course, don’t know today is any different. They still need their breakfast, their work and their baths, and racing carries on.

So today we turn our attention to our runners and wish them, their drivers and all of our owners the very best of luck 🐎💙

Beautiful animals, a sport we love, and sometimes a very humbling reminder of the risks that come with them.

So special catching up with the beautiful Millwood Nike and meeting her stunning new c**t for the first time 🥰🐴

Always special seeing our former racehorses thriving in their next chapter, and even better when we get to meet the next generation. Safe to say this little guy is a pretty impressive addition. 💙

A few thought we had a new GP 👀
Upon closer inspection…… it was the man himself 🐴 ✨

Oscar teaching the yearlings a thing or two this morning 🥹💙

Our retired champ has been enjoying a little jog up with the young ones, showing them how it’s done before he heads south on Tuesday to begin his next chapter at stud.

Pretty special seeing the old boy back out there with the next generation - he might be retired from racing, but he’s clearly still got plenty to teach them 🐎

The Stable/Stud Excellence Award recognises the outstanding contribution of an individual who is an integral part of a stable.

This award celebrates the people who consistently go above and beyond - showing dedication, reliability, knowledge, care and pride in their work. They may not always be the person in the spotlight, but they are often the backbone of the operation and play a vital role in the day-to-day running and success of a stable.

The long list of deserved nominees this year, shows our horses are in such great hands with not only their trainers, but also those behind the scenes to ensure they get the best results for their owners.

Good luck! We can't wait to see you all at Breckon Farms this Sunday where the winner will be announced 🤩

A pretty special milestone for one of the most special mares we’ve had through the stable 🤎

Millwood Nike was something else - 17 starts, 17 wins, and she gave us so many memorable moments on and off the track.

So good to see her now starting her next chapter and becoming a mum. A beautiful c**t and a very exciting future ahead for him.

Congratulations to everyone at Breckon Farms - we’ll be following this little guy closely. 🐴✨
