Bert and I had a great time around Springs Road wetlands. Bert was very well behaved and sat whenever bikes went past. Poor little man didn’t realize that duckweed isn’t grass and ended up falling into a pond. He was okay, though; it was a hard lesson in spatial awareness.

Jess had a fantastic time today on New Brighton Beach. There were lots of fun things to sniff, waves to play in, and even a big stick that she tried to show off to everyone passing by.

Today, Georgie, Lilly, and I had a great walk in Bottle Lake Forest and on the beach. Lilly found a stick covered in pinecones, and she was very confused as to why she couldn’t bring the pinecones with us. Georgie was happy as ever to be part of the fun.

Bert and I narrowly avoided a downpour, having a relatively dry walk at Haswell Quarry. We explored the trails above the dog park and made some doggy friends.

Jess had her second walk with me today and she is already getting better at her recall. Her favorite part was when I let her go for a swim. She is so funny in the water, she acts like a little puppy diving in and splashing around.
