Today we said goodbye to our wee legend Jacko (Tuffs Fancy Jack USA import) at 29 1/2 years old. Unfortunately, Jack had an accident in February and injured his pelvis. He has coped pretty well during the winter, but in the last couple of weeks, he's re injured himself. And we knew the time had come to say goodbye
Jack has been one in a million stallion. This sweet man had the biggest heart of any horse I know. The kindest nature of any horse you'd want.
For the past few months Jack has had our granddaughter Octavia's pony Tawny as his best friend, they loved each other so much. It was so good for Jack to have a friend after living his life as a working stallion on his own.
It's a great loss for us. And for those that loved him. Rest in peace our beautiful boy
