One to head to Wingatui today to race tomorrow.

4.24pm R9. HIVARI - Brett Murray
Gallant effort last start in Open grade on this track to run second. Draws the outside gate, which isn’t too much of a worry to him, he can take a sit anywhere in the running. He’s working well, and looks bright. He’s a very genuine horse who always gives a good account of himself.

The handsome Casper (1g Satono Aladdin - Ataahuadreamsrfree) before departing for a well deserved holiday on Monday.

He has done a wonderful job during his first educational preparation in the stable where he has adapted to our stable routine, learnt about the barriers and worked on each training track at Riccarton Park.

Thank you to the team at Nayton Mitchell Racing, for a wonderful job of breaking Casper in.

He has the looks, moves and temperament to be an exciting prospect for his group of owners.

Two to race today at Wingatui, unfortunately the track will be a bit wetter after rain yesterday than we’d hoped for, but both have travelled well and ready to take their place.

2.30pm R5. MIS SPEAKS - Terry Moseley
Really pleased with her last run, with a wide draw we opted to change her race pattern and get back. She hit the line very strongly after getting held up a couple of times up the straight. The wetter track is a bit of an unknown to her on race day, but has won a trial in similar conditions this prep.

4.15pm R8. HIVARI - Brett Murray
Has had no luck in last two starts at Riccarton. Small field here, although up in grade he looks as if he should be competitive as he steps up in distance. He seems to put in regardless of the track so hoping to see him close off the race well with a lightweight on his back.

3.35pm R7. MIS SPEAKS - Terry Moseley
Bounced back into form last start with a win on this course. Stepping up to 75 grade here, difficult draw but she has trained on well since her win and with a bit of luck, she can figure in the finish with a light weight on her back. Terry gets on great with her having been aboard for all four of her wins.

Awesome to see Chilli Margs (3f Tivaci - Membership) win second up at Hawkesbury today with Ash Morgan in the saddle.

We sold her to Darby Racing back at the end of October after winning her maiden race at her second start at Riccarton.

Great to see her thriving under the care of Bjorn Baker and his team.

Can’t wait to keep watching her progress in Aussie. Extremely proud of ‘Tabby’ for gaining her second win from four career starts.

One to race on premier day at Riccarton on Saturday.

1.40pm R4. HIVARI - Corey Campbell
Luckless last start on this course. He’s trained on well and the step back to 1400m suits. Corey has a wonderful record on him winning two for two rides on Wally. Wide draw but hoping for a bit of luck in the running, and to see him show his strong turn of foot late.

Paige Wakelin-Noble who attained approval on her slow work licence during the week will take the mount in the pony scurry aboard Katie’s speedy pony, Rumpshaker. Paige, who is the new National Cat C Series Show Hunter Pony Champion, has quickly become part of the furniture at the stables and has learned the art of track riding on recent winners Aurora Storm and Mis Speaks over the last few months. Good luck Paige and Gem, looking forward to the pair of you representing the stable on Saturday!
