Dogs don’t ask for much.

A safe place. Kind people. Good food. Time to sniff. A few mates to play with. Somewhere to rest after a busy day.

At Everything Dog, that’s what we’re working towards every day. Whether your pup is visiting for daycare, boarding, grooming or training, our goal is always the same: helping them feel safe, happy and well cared for.

Because when dogs are given what they need, the tail wags tend to take care of themselves.

When people hear we’re SPCA Certified®, they often assume it’s an award.

To us, it’s something much more important.

It reflects our commitment to continually improving the care we provide. The certification process involved an independent assessment of our animal welfare practices, giving us the opportunity to measure ourselves against recognised standards and keep raising the bar.
We didn’t do it for a logo or a certificate on the wall.

We did it because every dog deserves thoughtful, compassionate care, whether they’re joining us for daycare, boarding, grooming or training.

We’re proud of what we’ve achieved, but we’re even prouder that it’s helping us provide an even better experience for the dogs in our care.

Ever wondered why your dog insists on sniffing every tree, fence post and blade of grass?
For dogs, their nose is their greatest superpower.

Every sniff gives them information about the world around them. Who’s been there, what’s changed and what might be around the next corner. It’s one of the ways dogs learn, explore and stay mentally engaged.

That’s why we don’t rush every sniff. Opportunities to explore and investigate are an important part of a balanced day, alongside play, social time and plenty of rest.

At Everything Dog, enrichment isn’t an extra. It’s part of helping dogs have a fun, fulfilling day.

Winter doesn't stop dogs from being dogs.

They still want to get out, sniff everything, stretch their legs and spend time doing the things they enjoy. Sometimes we just need to get a little more creative.

Keeping coats brushed, paws clean after muddy walks and minds busy on rainy days can all help your pooch stay happy through the colder months.

And don't underestimate the power of routine. Dogs love knowing what's coming next, even when the weather keeps us guessing.

If winter has your pup bouncing off the walls, we'd love to help burn off some of that energy.

If dogs could write letters, we reckon they’d have a few things to say.

They’d probably ask for one more treat, a longer sniff on every walk, and maybe permission to sleep on the couch…

But they’d also remind us that they’re at their best when life has a healthy balance of adventure, enrichment, rest and routine.

That’s exactly what we aim to create at Everything Dog, whether your pup is joining us for daycare, boarding or a groom.

What do you think your dog would add to the list? We’d love to hear it. 🐾

Most people think grooming is all about keeping their dog looking tidy.

While a fresh groom certainly has its perks, it’s also a great opportunity to keep an eye on your dog’s overall wellbeing.

As coats are brushed, washed and dried, it’s often easier to notice things like changes in skin condition, lumps or bumps, sore spots, or anything that looks a little out of the ordinary.
It doesn’t replace a visit to the vet, but it can help you spot changes sooner rather than later.
Of course, regular grooming also helps keep coats healthy, comfortable and free from tangles-something both you and your pup will appreciate.

A healthy dog is a happy dog, and we’re here to help keep them looking and feeling their best.

Leaving your dog somewhere new for the first time can feel like a big step.

It’s completely normal to wonder how they’ll settle or whether they’ll miss you.

The good news is that dogs are incredibly adaptable when they’re supported with patience, routine and positive experiences. Some pups bounce straight in. Others take a little longer to find their feet, and that’s okay too.

At Everything Dog, we take the time to get to know every dog as an individual. Whether they’re joining us for daycare or staying a little longer in our boarding kennels, our goal is the same: helping them feel safe, comfortable and happy.

Before long, many of our regulars can’t wait to get through the gate and start their day.
