Team Hill has a busy weekend ahead of them this week.
First up on Friday at Addington is:
Race 8 at 8.02pm: Renegade has drawn 12. It’s a very good field for the $60k Lamb and Hayward Classic. With Seth having a wee break, Harrison Orange gets the drive against his Dad on Wags Star. Renegade is paying big money, and from 12 a little bit of luck may be needed.
Then Sunday it’s a big adventure in Oamaru starting with:
Race 1 at 12.30: Bella Ciao has drawn 12, with big brother Max Hill having the drive after a good 5th at Methven
Race 2 at 1.00: King Charles lines up from barrier 9; Max has the drive. He is 2nd favourite now
Race 5 at 2.25 Not Guilty starts from 8 and is favourite from his trials form. Max has the drive
Race 8 at 3.58: Larissa Beaudiene is number 6 from the 10m mark. Max has the drive and is favourite after her efforts in her last 2 starts.

Its a return to Addington this week.
On Friday Evening it’s the HARNESS MILLION night at Addington. In the float are three of the Hill team to make their mark.

Race 3 at 5.38pm, Bord De La Mer lines up at barrier 4. He placed second in the trials last week and is making his second start. He is the favourite for this event according to the TAB, with Seth having the drive from barrier 4.
Race 6 at 7.05pm: Mr Mercedes lines up at 3, with Seth doing the steering. For two starts and 2 fourths, he is up against some good ones for the $75,000 2yo Mobile Trot
Race 11 at 9.32pm its Cath’s turn to step up for the Woodlands Stud Hilarious Guest Mbl Pace. She has been out of the money twice in her 13 starts. Can Seth and Cath continue that form?

I seem to have stuffed up. Just as well, Adam White is keeping an eye on me.
Also at Methven is
Race 7 at 2: 50: Larissa Beaudiene lines up from 3. Her last start win has her favourite, with Seth doing the driving
Then the Methven Cup is the mission for Renegade at 4.27pm. A good run last time makes him Favourite for this one.

At last, it's Friday.
A whole week of getting up an hour earlier.
Addington tonight. Team Hill is taking 2 of the team.
Race 8 at 8.35pm: Scoundrel draws 5. Seth has the drive, with a form of 2- 2; can he do better? A good run from this draw and he may well do better

Race 9 at 9.03 Cath lines up from 9 as second favourite after he last run. Seth has the drive
Sunday 4th Oct and it’s a trip to Methven
Race 1 at 11.55 King Charlie lines up after a long spell. He had a good trial on Tuesday. Seth has the drive from the 12 draws.
Race 6 at 2.15, Bella Caio has a chance to back up her win at Orari a couple of weeks ago. Seth has the drive from the 6 draw

Race 3: 5.26pm Scoundrel Drawn 3 Driven By Seth
Race 7: 7.29pm Mr Mercedes Drawn 2 Driven By Seth
Race 8: 7.57pm Renegade Drawn 1 Driven By Seth
Can Team Hill continue with the good run that last Sunday at Orari produced?

This is a weekend for the Girls.
Yes, the girls are flying the flag for Team Hill.
Cath will be at Addington for race 9 at 8.48pm, drawing 10 for the Lamb and Hayward Mobile Pace over 1980m. Seth Hill is the driver.
Sunday at Geraldine, Bella Ciao lines up in race 2, The Gavelhouse MBL Pace over 1850 m, drawing 12. This could be an interesting race with Seth doing the driving. After a bit of a rest, Larissa Beaudiene lines up in race 9, The Bodyguard Health HCP Pace from 6, with Seth doing the driving.

It's Friday Nite date night at Addington for Team Hill.
Three of the team are in the float to seek their fortune.
Race 3: The consistent Bella Ciao lines up at 8, with Seth doing the steering at 5.25pm
She is up against some nice ones, which has her down the list as favourites go. Paying $16 and $3.60. Will she be polite again and let another horse go first, or is Bella going to surprise us with a win? With two seconds in the last two starts. She’s looking good and working well. You can’t ask for much more. Good luck, guys.
Race 5: The lawyer Mickey Holler from the second line (11) lines up with Seth in the cart at 6.25pm. The TAB comment is.
MICKEY HOLLER (11) showed pleasing improvement last time out when third over 1980m at this track. Each-way chance.
At $4.60 and 1.95 he is 3rd Favourite for his 8th Start, and if he gets a run???????

Race 9 Renegade lines up in a 6-horse field from 6 in the 2000m $40k race at 8.26pm. Third in his last start. He has only got 5 to beat 😉 and the shot at the cup is getting real. Currently ranked at 19, and two months to go till Cup Day. At $14 and $8, anything can happen.

Today’s date at Addington belongs to Mickey Holler.
Race 7 at 8.07 pm sees Mickey Holler line up from the 2 on the front line.
Seth has the drive for the 3-year-old who is having his 7th start; he had some traffic issues in his last start and drops a class. The TAB have him as 3rd Favourite in the 10-horse field over the 1980m mobile start.

That’s about it for the weekend. This gives Benny time to mow the lawn, and maybe get in a game of golf before things get busy with the spring racing season.

It's Friday Night Date night for Team Hill; it's off to Addington for
Race 3 3 Bella Ciao, drawn 3, driven by Seth. Second in her last start. She’s pretty good at getting in the first 4, but with 27 starts in this grade, one would think a win isn’t too far away. Just maybe it's tonight!!!!!
Race 8: The Maurice Homes Vase, Renegade is aiming for a start in the NZ Cup in November. Drawn 2 with Seth in the driver’s seat. He is the 6th Favourite in the 7-horse field. As the TAB put it. An Upset Prospect.
