It's Friday Nite date night at Addington for Team Hill.
Three of the team are in the float to seek their fortune.
Race 3: The consistent Bella Ciao lines up at 8, with Seth doing the steering at 5.25pm
She is up against some nice ones, which has her down the list as favourites go. Paying $16 and $3.60. Will she be polite again and let another horse go first, or is Bella going to surprise us with a win? With two seconds in the last two starts. She’s looking good and working well. You can’t ask for much more. Good luck, guys.
Race 5: The lawyer Mickey Holler from the second line (11) lines up with Seth in the cart at 6.25pm. The TAB comment is.
MICKEY HOLLER (11) showed pleasing improvement last time out when third over 1980m at this track. Each-way chance.
At $4.60 and 1.95 he is 3rd Favourite for his 8th Start, and if he gets a run???????

Race 9 Renegade lines up in a 6-horse field from 6 in the 2000m $40k race at 8.26pm. Third in his last start. He has only got 5 to beat 😉 and the shot at the cup is getting real. Currently ranked at 19, and two months to go till Cup Day. At $14 and $8, anything can happen.

Today’s date at Addington belongs to Mickey Holler.
Race 7 at 8.07 pm sees Mickey Holler line up from the 2 on the front line.
Seth has the drive for the 3-year-old who is having his 7th start; he had some traffic issues in his last start and drops a class. The TAB have him as 3rd Favourite in the 10-horse field over the 1980m mobile start.

That’s about it for the weekend. This gives Benny time to mow the lawn, and maybe get in a game of golf before things get busy with the spring racing season.

It's Friday Night Date night for Team Hill; it's off to Addington for
Race 3 3 Bella Ciao, drawn 3, driven by Seth. Second in her last start. She’s pretty good at getting in the first 4, but with 27 starts in this grade, one would think a win isn’t too far away. Just maybe it's tonight!!!!!
Race 8: The Maurice Homes Vase, Renegade is aiming for a start in the NZ Cup in November. Drawn 2 with Seth in the driver’s seat. He is the 6th Favourite in the 7-horse field. As the TAB put it. An Upset Prospect.

Team Hill has their normal date with Addington tomorrow night.
Seth is having a well-deserved break soaking up the sun on foreign shores, while the rest of the team brave the colder mornings, keeping the horses happy and fit.
First up is Bela Caio in race 2, drawn 1 with Ricky May in the cart. The bonus of starting next to the favourite in the 1980m mobile. The team are looking for just a tad bit of luck in this one. Bella is 3rd favourite for this one.
Then it’s a long wait to race 9, where Wilson House has the drive on Bord De La Mer from the number 1 draw. With a win in his first start, can he do it again? As second favourite on FF, the TAB seems to think so. Is it a champ driving a champ?
Race 10: Ricky has the drive behind Rockingood from the number 2 draw. With a 5th in his last start, he must be considered a chance.
Hopefully team Hill can go home with a smile after Friday night’s effort.

It’s a return to Addington for team Hill tonight. Although Seth, along with big brother Max in Auckland for the Junior Drivers Champs ( Races 2,4 and 5), then it's at Ashburton on Sunday (Races 2, 4, 6 and 7)

It's Ricky May and Bob Butt who have been called to take the young driver's place this evening.
Race 5 Larissa Beaudiene will be driven by Ricky from the number one draw. With a win two starts ago on the 10th of July, followed up with a 5th a week later. She has had a couple of weeks off to freshen up.
Race 6 and Renegade, who is off the 20m mark. Is 4th favourite with Bob Butt doing the driving. With a second and a first from his last two starts, he could add to his run tonight.

Team Hill heads to Addington tonight with three runners prepared to be at their best.
Race 5: Bella Ciao
Bella Ciao lines up from the 9 mark in the 2600m standing start after a gallant second placing last time out. With Seth in the sulky and plenty of experience in this grade, she looks well placed to go one better. She is currently third favourite, and with a touch of luck, tonight could be her night.
Race 7: Rockingood
Rockingood has drawn 5 and comes into the race following a strong win at the Rangiora trials. All three of his previous wins have come over this distance and from behind the mobile, so the conditions should suit. With Seth taking the drive from a good draw, and the TAB rating him second favourite, he looks a genuine chance to add another win to his record.
Race 8: Mickey Holler
Mickey Holler starts from the number 1 draw in what will be his sixth race start. Since returning from a break, he has produced a first and a second from his last two outings, suggesting he is continuing to learn and improve. With Seth guiding him from the cart, he has every chance to make his presence felt.

It will be a newcomer to Addington that represents Team Hill at Addington tonight.
Race 5 sees Bord De La Mer, a three-year-old gelding by Downbytheseaside from Firenze Amore, on debut. Trial winner who looks above average, says the TAB. From barrier 4 and with Seth in the driver’s seat, we await the outcome.
Then it's back to Addington on Sunday. Race 2 has Bella Ciao, who has drawn 8. Just an ounce of luck is required here. Along with Larissa Beaudiene in race 6 with the number 2 draw. She is coming off her brilliant win last start.
Things are stepping up for the spring racing at Team Hill.

It's Bella Caio who will represent Team Hill at Addington tonight in race 2, 1980m VIP Trade Pace, a mobile event at 5.37pm.
Bella has a good draw from 2 tonight. Hopefully, the traffic issues from her last start won't hamper her tonight. In the hands of Seth Hill, just maybe get a good run to get in the money. The TAB have her at 4th Favourite, against some nice horses.
