Qualified “Deer Farm” Labour position
An opportunity has arisen for a position on a small undulating contoured velveting unit (500 stags) in the Central Waikato near Tahuna, owned by a long-established successful Waikato deer breeder – Tower Farms Deer Ltd.
An ideal applicant who has a velvet drug removal licence will be responsible for the seasonal attention and requirements of the velvet herd and general farm maintenance and procedures, (support is available). There will be occasions when she/he will be required to assist the owner in similar duties mentioned above, on a stud unit near Cambridge. The successful applicant must have top patient stockmanship qualities, with a corresponding work ethic.
A recently built very warm three-bedroom home, is available with commanding views of the Mountain of Love, Mount Te Aroha, a quality primary school is only 7kms away.
Possibly an entry level managers position, or semi near (years) retirement post. While all qualified applicants’ female/male will be considered and replied to, also considered will be applicants with an “I will, we will” attitude, experienced but not yet or close to drug certification.
