Tuesday at Doggy Bed and Biscuit🐾✨

Things were a little different around daycare today! We spent some time reshuffling our pups into different groups to help create new friendships, encourage positive social experiences, and continue building the best possible group dynamics for everyone. 💛

So if your pup wasn’t in their usual group today, don’t worry — it’s all part of helping us find the perfect balance and ensuring every dog gets the most out of their daycare experience. 🐶

We’re happy to report that everyone settled into their new groups beautifully. It was wonderful seeing pups meet new friends, build confidence, and enjoy different social experiences throughout the day.

Today was all about new group combinations, new friendships and helping everyone settle into the changes around daycare! 💛

We spent the day introducing and mixing up some of our groups, creating opportunities for dogs to meet new friends and build their social circles. We were so proud of how well everyone adapted and showed off their lovely manners. 🥰

The little dogs enjoyed a cuddly day which was nice for the chilly wet day 🫶🏼

A big well done to all of our daycare dogs and team today. Change can be exciting, and everyone did an amazing job navigating new friendships and group dynamics. We can’t wait to see these connections continue to grow over the coming weeks! 💕

What a lovely way to wrap up the week! With Fieldays traffic finally behind us, it was a day of friendships, training, and plenty of wagging tails. 🐾💛

✨ Today’s Highlights
• Freya was absolutely thrilled to see Chloe, Charli, and Ralph join the group today, making for some very happy reunions and play sessions.
• Tricks & Treats enrichment brought out some impressive skills! We saw some fantastic paw shakes throughout the day, with Buddy and Dodger especially showing off their talents. 🐾
• Buddy also took out the award for sweetest cuddles, sharing the gentlest snuggles with both the team and his friends. 🥰

One of our favourite moments today was watching P**i grow in confidence as she made a new friend with Hugo💕

A special mention to Hugo, who has been visiting while his family enjoys Fieldays. Hugo has visited with us before and we always love having him back. He settles in beautifully and always makes new friends!

And finally, thank you all for helping make Fieldays week run so smoothly. Despite the traffic challenges, we had no issues with late pickups all week, and we really appreciate everyone’s support and planning.

As our daycare family continues to grow and friendships evolve, we’ve decided it’s time for a few group changes! Next week we may direct you to different drop-off and pickup locations while we find the best fit for everyone. Thank you for bearing with us as we continue keeping our groups the happiest, safest groups possible. 🐾

Sunshine and daycare go hand in hand ☀️🐾

With the sun shining, there was plenty of time for sunbathing, playtime, and catching up with friends throughout the day. We had lots of happy pups making the most of the beautiful weather and enjoying every sunny moment. 💛

One of the sweetest moments of the day was watching Rosie and Louie start to form a friendship. It was so wholesome seeing them spend time together and build their confidence around one another. 🥰

We also welcomed a special visitor all the way from Wellington — Kahu the Huntaway! 🐶 Kahu joined us while her parents were off enjoying Fieldays. Daycare is very different from what she’s used to but with a little support and encouragement, she settled in beautifully and even made a few new friends along the way.

❄️ A frosty start to the day meant lots of our daycare pals arrived rugged up in their cutest winter sweaters, and we absolutely loved seeing all the cosy fashion on display! 🫶🏼🐾

🐒 Bella & Juniper’s friendship continues to blossom into the loveliest play sessions, while Hendriks had a very social day, making two new friends in Jack & Lemony! We’re also incredibly proud of Rafferty, who showed fantastic enthusiasm and problem-solving skills during today’s puzzle enrichment.

🦔 Hugo joined us while his family are away at Fieldays and quickly made himself at home, making plenty of new friends along the way. Eevie & Belle kept everyone entertained with their adventures on the playground slide, racing up and down together all day long!

🐝 Prada & Athena were inseparable besties today, enjoying lots of fun play together in the playground.

🧩 Puzzle enrichment was the star of the show today! So many dogs were eager to get involved, giving the challenges their best effort and showing off some impressive thinking skills.

🌟 A special mention to Rum & Luna, who spent lots of time together today. With a little support from the team, they worked on balancing their excitement and learnt how to enjoy calm, respectful play together.

Another wonderful winter’s day filled with friendships, learning, and plenty of wagging tails! 🐾
