✨ THE COUNTDOWN IS ON! ✨

After months of planning, dreaming, packing, and preparing, we're finally ready to share our official move date!

🐾 The Groom Room will be moving to our new premises on 15 June 2026. 🐾

We still have treat jars to fill, shampoo shelves to stock, and lots of excited tail wags to prepare for over the next two weeks 😉

📍 Important: Until 15 June, all appointments remain at our current location.

We are beyond excited to welcome you into our beautiful new space and can't wait to share this next chapter with all of our wonderful clients and their dogs ❤️

Well… the cat is officially out of the bag! 🐾

The Groom Room will soon be moving into a new premises here in Cambridge ❤️

Things have been a little busy behind the scenes lately — this is why 😅

Over the next few weeks we’ll be sharing snippets of the process as we work towards creating a beautiful new space for our clients and their dogs. We’re currently aiming to open within the next 5–6 weeks, with an official date to be confirmed once everything is finalised ✨

This move means so much to us. It’s something we’ve worked incredibly hard towards and we cannot wait to bring you all along for the journey 🐶

Keep an eye out over the coming weeks… there’s lots more to come 👀

Sometimes I look back at where this all started and it honestly feels surreal 🐾

What began as a small dream has slowly grown year by year through the support, trust and loyalty of our incredible clients. Some of you have been with us since the very beginning — from puppies now turning grey around the face, to nervous first visits that have become tail-wagging routines 🤍

Over the years, one thing has never changed: my passion for creating positive grooming experiences. Grooming is so much more than just haircuts to me. It’s about patience, trust, comfort, understanding each dog as an individual, forging relationships and creating an environment where they feel safe and cared for.

As we continue growing, I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about what I want The Groom Room to become in the years ahead. Not just a grooming salon, but a calm, welcoming space that allows us to expand on the care and experience we provide for both dogs and their humans 🐶

There are some exciting things quietly in the works behind the scenes, and while we’re not quite ready to share everything yet… this next chapter feels very aligned with the heart of why I started all of this in the first place.

Thank you for being part of the journey so far. Truly. Watching this little business grow alongside your dogs has been one of the biggest privileges of my life 🤍

Marley update!! 🐾

For those who missed it, Marley first visited us 3 weeks ago. He has previously needed sedation at the vets for nail trims, and while sedation sometimes has its place, for routine things like nails, early exposure, positive experiences, and capable professionals can make such a difference.

This was Marley last week — only his 2nd visit, and already so much more relaxed and confident 🥹

We’ll continue with another fortnightly appointment, then Marley will move to our recommended monthly nail trim visits.

We’re so proud of him 💜

It’s been a busy few weeks behind the scenes here — lots of moving parts, a few big decisions, and plenty of planning going on in the background.

For now, it’s business as usual (and lots of very good dogs 🥰), but we’re looking forward to sharing a bit more with you soon.
