It's time to order your Equilume masks!

To advance the breeding season in mares we can add a bit of blue light therapy (starting 70days before start of the season) so the 15th of June for the Thoroughbreds if they want the mares to be hot to trot on the 1st of September.

But it's not just fertility in breeding mares that is advanced and improved, all sporthorses aimed for spring competitions can use it as well! Get the coat shiny and gleaming already at start of spring, sounds like a dream doesn't it?!

Our Associate Veterinarians have been using their muscles for a good cause this weekend. Saturday morning was spent helping Aroha Cambridge tidy up some of the green belt in preparation for planting and restoring its natural beauty.

Did you know all the work this amazing volunteer and non for profit charity do? They have trapped more than 10,000 pests around our beautiful town and bird life is flourishing due to their efforts. They also tidy up and do a lot of native planting around our town. Every little bit helps so lend them a hand or even a small donation goes a long way.

The basis (compulsory aspect) for our winter wellness examination package is a clinical physical examination by one of our team of Equine Veterinarians.
One of the components of this type of examination is they will check for any signs of lameness or stride irregularity.
