I’m not afraid to do the hard yards. The thoroughbred industry has taught me that success isn’t handed to you—it’s earned through hard work, consistency, and an unwavering commitment to your horses and your clients. From early starts to long days, I take pride in being hands-on and giving 100% to every horse that comes through my care. I believe that dedication, attention to detail, and genuine passion are what set great horse people apart, and those are the values I bring to Aivilo Thoroughbreds every day.

There’s just something magic about working with yearlings. Every day they grow in confidence, strength, and character, and being part of that journey never gets old 🌟

We’re heading to the New Zealand Bloodstock National Weanling Sale in a few weeks, and this creates an exciting opportunity to get involved!

We are looking to purchase select weanlings with the aim of pinhooking them through to the 2027 National Yearling Sales at Karaka.

Whether you’re interested in a small share or a larger investment, we’d love to discuss the opportunities available and tailor a plan to suit your requirements.

If you’d like to learn more, feel free to get in touch for a chat.

Welcome to Aivilo Thoroughbreds, a boutique yearling preparation business based in the Waikato. Yearling preparation has been my career since leaving school, during which time I have had the privilege of learning from some of the industry’s leading professionals. I am now proud to establish Aivilo Thoroughbreds and offer these services under my own banner. Please feel free to get in touch to discuss your requirements.
