Feeling the cold? 🥶 You can bet your calves do too! Especially if they are feeling under the weather. These Thermoo calf jackets are perfect for helping calves retain body heat so their energy is more effectively used for weight gain and their developing immune system. The jackets are waterproof, machine washable and come in 3 different sizes. Also very handy for helping keep those calf club calves clean!🐮🐮

When it comes to high-risk transition cows, preventing complications is far more manageable and cost effective than treatment. We are big fans of the TRANSITION™ Boluses for delivering calcium to cows, safely and effectively, immediately post calving. Some of our clients like them so much they now use them routinely on the whole herd at calving.

TRANSITION™ Calcium Bolus application advantages
◾No sharp edges or surfaces
◾No palatability issues that are common with drenches or pastes
◾No withdrawal period

TRANSITION™ Calcium Boluses are to be administered immediately after calving, and again 12 hours after calving.

Swamp Grass Poisoning

Be aware of grazing wet areas if swamp grass is present as during certain growing conditions it may contain cyanide.
If a cow eats enough of it (about 6-8kg) they can die.

A recent case of poisoning may indicate that the grass is toxic at the moment.
