INTRODUCING THE IN-HAND MENTORSHIP PROGRAM
For the last 25 years, I’ve specialised in in-hand work, helping people and horses achieve more together through calm, clear, and kind communication from the ground up.
I’ve shown in-hand to the highest levels in both New Zealand and Australia with outstanding success, and I bring that experience into every session I do. My passion is not only developing the horse, but also developing the handler – their eye, their timing, and their confidence in the ring.
Now, I want to share this experience and passion with you.
The Mentorship Program
This online mentorship program is for anyone working with horses in-hand that would appreciate and benefit from a mentor to give them advice, guidance, and encouragement.
It is open to all locations and all those competing in-hand as well as anyone wanting to build a deeper relationship with their horse on the ground.
What it includes:
· Group chats for questions, feedback, and encouragement
· Weekly team Zoom calls to learn, share wins, and troubleshoot together
· Clear, step-by-step training plans tailored to you and your horse
· Goal setting and accountability so you keep moving forward
· First access to group lessons and one-on-one coaching
And most importantly, the support you need to actually achieve the results and partnership you’re dreaming of
With all horses, we can:
· Develop balance, lightness, and self-carriage without strain
· Build confidence in nervous or tense horses
· Create a deeper connection so your horse wants to work with you
I also focus strongly on the details that win in the show ring:
· Ringcraft: understanding how to use the arena, present your horse to the judge, and make the most of every moment you’re being watched
· Showmanship: how you move, stand, and handle your horse so you look polished, professional, and in sync
· Turnout: from clipping and grooming to final presentation and finishing touches, I can help you achieve impeccable turnout that truly stands out.
