🐾 Comfortable care. Confident progress. 🐾

Whether your pet is visiting us for a treatment such as laser therapy or shockwave, working through exercises in our rehabilitation department, or getting started with hydrotherapy, their comfort always comes first. ❤️

At BARC, we pride ourselves on providing a fear-free, positive approach to rehabilitation. Our team of qualified veterinary nurses, rehabilitation and hydrotherapy professionals work to make every visit as calm, comfortable and positive as possible.

Because rehabilitation isn’t just about getting results — it’s about making sure our patients feel safe, happy and confident while getting there. 🐶🐱💕

🐾 NEW AT BARC! 🐾

We’re very excited to now be stocking and using Daisy’s Delights air-dried dog treats in clinic! 🐶❤️

These treats are 100% natural, with fantastic palatability and a range of options to suit different dogs, including hypoallergenic and low-calorie choices.

We currently have:
🐑 Lamb Puff Bites
🐑 Lamb Liver
🍗Chicken Strips

And the whole Daisy’s Delights range is available to order through BARC!

They’re perfect for training, rewards, enrichment or simply spoiling your dog with something delicious. 🥰

We’ve been really impressed with their palatability, making them a great option for even the more selective dogs!

🐾 A little note for ordering:
As we are a small clinic, we don’t always have a receptionist on duty. If you’d like to purchase or order treats, please phone or message us ahead of time so we can have your order ready for you.

Go check out on Instagram and Facebook to see their full range! 🐾

We may have mentioned this before, but it’s time for a proper introduction 👀

Hydrotherapy is a fantastic way to support recovery, build strength, and keep dogs moving comfortably in a low-impact environment.

Kilu showing us his front paws up stretch 🐾✨
A fun one we use to help build strength and encourage a nice hip stretch while gently engaging the hind limb muscles and core, all while keeping things fun and positive.

Yummy treats make everything better 😋🐾
Nala is enjoying some well-earned snacks while having focused shockwave treatment to her shoulder.
This fantastic, science-based treatment uses focused high-energy pressure waves to stimulate a healing response in the tissues. It can help break down chronically damaged tendon fibres associated with tendinopathy, allowing healthier tissue to regenerate.
As new tendon fibres develop, we gradually introduce targeted exercises to improve tensile strength and support long-term recovery.
A great option for managing tendinopathies, arthritis, and even delayed healing fractures — all while keeping patients like Nala comfortable and relaxed 💙

Cats can benefit from treatment too 🐱💦
Here’s Sooty enjoying a gentle session focused on easing hip discomfort, including focus shockwave therapy (soundwaves), level 4 laser therapy, soft tissue work and some targeted stretching exercises to support mobility and comfort.
Rehab isn’t just for dogs — our feline patients can also gain confidence, improve movement, and feel more comfortable in their day-to-day lives💙
