Whew! Big day today so far. Picked up 15 dogs and puppies. Desexed the older ones, vaccinations, health checks for all. Biggest thanks to Leanne and her team Vet Trust Henderson for their support and making this happen. Desexing vouchers were supplied by Vet trust Henderson.

Would also like to acknowledge Saving Hope for their visits to the family helping with food, worm, flea and taking some puppies.

We are at the stage now where we will physically pick up dogs for desexing when we can to stop the never ending cycle.

Some of the puppies are coming home so it’s going to be a busy couple of weeks!

Now here’s the part where I beg for your help. 😂

We have run out of puppy food and p*e pads. We have one bag left which just isn’t going to feed so many hungry growing mouths.

If you would like to help us out we would be so grateful, the puppies would be grateful and your halo will shine that little bit brighter. 😇😇😇You can purchase directly from Pet Patch in Kumeū, Vet trust Henderson or online at https://www.pet.kiwi/rescue-wishlist/paws-restart-/g455.aspx.

Many hands make lighter work or in this case many $ make fuller tummies.

We are hoping for small breed and medium to large breed. Sadly the supermarket brands are not so kind on their tummies.

Thanks so so much, Tania and team.

We accept SPCA snip n chip vouchers here, so if you are needing financial support please apply directly and get booked in before kitten season is at full throttle!

Important message for cat owners – we have more Snip ‘n’ Chip vouchers available now! 🙌😺

From Wednesday 2 September, we’re working with local participating veterinary clinics, Auckland Council and six Local Boards, to offer this service to cat owners who live close to cat-sensitive biodiversity areas.

Snip ‘n’ Chip vouchers in this campaign help those living near threatened species sites get their cat desexed and microchipped for FREE! 🎉🩵

We’d like to give a huge shoutout to these clinics and community partners for helping us to make this possible!

Bookings are now open – check the link to see if vouchers are available in your area, and register today: https://book.spcadesexing.nz/

A limited number of vouchers are available for selected areas, and the cat being desexed must reside in one of the eligible postcodes. If your cat is already desexed, you can get a voucher for microchipping only.

By desexing cats, we can stop unwanted litters and prevent suffering before it occurs 🙏 Join us in making desexing and microchipping a priority in our community!
