Beautiful Doris here came for a dental clean up and treatment. She had an infection in one of her roots and feline odontoclastic resorptive lesions in two of her other teeth. As you can see she was very curious and loved watching us work in the clinic! 🐈🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛

Congratulations are in order!! We've got our Silver Cat Friendly Clinic Accreditation! This is awarded to clinic's which pride themselves on being as stress and fear free as possible for our feline patients. We keep the environment calm and quiet with low lighting, we provide areas raised above the ground for carriers to be placed on, provide feliway sprayed towels to cover them and make sure if they have to stay with us that they have a box to hide in as well as a moveable curtain at the front of the kennel for added security. Our staff are trained in the most recently advised methods of restraint for examinations and procedures as well as coming with a profound love for cats and the job itself. If you want any advice on ways to make the journey as fear free as possible please don't hesitate to get in touch 🐈🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛

Meet Prince, a beautiful chonky toyger! He came in as he had been having difficulty breathing; he had a number of different investigations performed which revealed he had fluid around his lungs (a pleural effusion). When we drained it we found he had a very uncommon type of fluid called chyle which had built up. He later went to a referral clinic to find what the cause was. We wish him all the best in his upcoming surgery to manage the condition

This is the beautiful Xiao Bao who refused to look at the camera in typical cat fashion! She stayed with us after we found she had acute kidney injury (AKI). One of the biggest causes of AKI in cats is toxin ingestion with lily's (any part of the plant) and anti-freeze being some of the most common causes. She was treated with fluid therapy and management of nausea and other clinical signs. She was incredibly lucky to have such dedicated cat parents who continued to nurse her at home by giving fluids under the skin. We are so pleased to see that she is doing loads better, and we will just see her back in a month to see if there has been any residual damage. 🐈🐈‍⬛
