We are a small private facility who believe freedom to socialise in an open outdoor environment is essential to a dog's well-being and calm state of mind. We understand how busy life is so we take the stress out of your day by providing a safe & secure pick up and drop off service in a comfortable air-conditioned van. You do not need to be home; you simply give us instructions on how to reach your dog. At Woodlands Dog Retreat, while we give dogs the s**ce to run and play in their natural habitat, we encourage balanced respectful behaviour. We practise calm self-control and do not allow high intensity controlling play. This results in focussed dogs that are respectful to each other and their trainers. We want dogs to feel safe and secure in a controlled environment where we can build confidence and help develop their skills in a tranquil outdoor s**ce. A large indoor covered area provides shelter during bad weather as well as a great place for quiet afternoon downtime & specialised training. Mature pine trees offer shade in the hotter months with 2 natural ponds for dogs to cool off and have some fun splash time.

Rain? What rain? ☀️🐕✨

We waved goodbye to yesterday's showers and brought the sun out to play today! The energy at the farm has been electric all day long. Flying balls, big doggie smiles, and pure joy under the blue skies.

Now, the best part of a big sunny day: a fleet of happy, tired pups heading home for a well deserved snooze. Perfect Tuesday if we do say so ourselves! 🎾🐾

Monday weather report: Wet, wild, and wonderfully messy! 🌧️🐾

If anyone thought a bit of rain would slow the pack down, they clearly haven't met this crew. We kicked off the week with a wild, soggy adventure in the paddocks, complete with maximum puddle splashing, soggy fur, and the absolute best kind of chaos.

Nothing like a wet and wild Monday to blow away the cobwebs. Happy start to the week from the dampest, happiest dogs in town! 🌧️🐕💛

The weekend is almost here, but these guys definitely aren’t slowing down! 😋

Thursday energy is officially through the roof in the paddocks today. While the rest of us might be eyeing up the weekend calendar, this crew is keeping their paws firmly on the accelerator, tearing across the grass and playing just as hard as they did on Monday morning.

Full speed ahead into the end of the week. Love this unstoppable energy, team! 🎾🐾✨

Tongues out, happy dogs everywhere you look, and total bliss at the farm today. The pack soaked up every single ray of sunshine today, making the most of the gorgeous blue skies and celebrating a truly wonderful Wednesday.

It just doesn't get better than this! 🎾🐾

Fast and breezy! 🌪️🐶✨

Tuesday’s wind brought out a whole new level of speed at the farm today. With the wind in their fur and a little extra fuel in the tank, our adventurous crew didn't slow down for a single second. Watching them tear across the fields is what daycare dreams are made of!

Watch out, another powerhouse has joined the crew! Meet Phoenix, an incredible 6 month old Border Collie who had her first day with us today 🌟🐶

True to her breed, Phoenix burst through the gates with high energy and total enthusiasm. She immediately found her groove, pairing up with the younger, faster crew in the yard. Between sprinting across the fields and making fast friends left and right, she handled her first day like an absolute pro.

Welcome to the family, Phoenix! You crushed it today 🎾🐾

FriYAY! Today’s pack spent their day running, playing and soaking up the sun before the rain. We also celebrated Mr Paddy turning 5!! 💚🐾🥳

New friend alert! Meet Koda, an absolute superstar who had her first day with us today 🌟🐶

This gorgeous Staffy x Shar Pei didn't let a little thing like a plastic cone slow her down. Koda dove straight into her first day in paradise like a pro, spending hours exploring every inch of the field, smelling all the smells, and getting to know her new pack mates.

You are amazing, Koda! Welcome to the Woodlands crew, we are so thrilled to have you here 🎾🐾
