🌍 David Attenborough Week – Day Four 🌍
Today we’re introducing Vicky, one of our full-time veterinary nurses here at the clinic. 🐾
"Growing up, I always felt drawn to animals, a natural love and understanding for them. Watching documentaries with my Dad was my favourite time of the week, especially anything with David Attenborough.
The Blue Planet series in particular captured my imagination and deepened my love for the ocean, opening my eyes to the incredible world beneath the surface. It turned my love of animals into a wider passion for conservation, nature, and protecting our planet.
That passion has stayed with me throughout my life, and I’ve always tried to explore the ocean and witness the world beneath the waves - always ethically, respectfully, and in awe of wildlife in its natural habitat. I’ve been lucky enough to see humpback whales, dolphins, whale sharks, turtles, rays, great white sharks, bull sharks, and so many incredible fish around the world.
It’s amazing to think that one man’s storytelling could inspire so much. Thank you, David Attenborough, for helping shape the way I see animals, the ocean, and our responsibility to protect them for future generations." 🌍🐋💙
