Our clinic has been operating in our purpose built facility in the Mairangi Bay area for over 30 years. We believe in providing the trusted, high quality veterinary services we would want for our own pets and in going the extra mile for all of our patients and clients. Our team are all based locally and are dedicated pet owners who bring a caring, empathetic and passionate approach to patient wellbeing.

Nick is going on a much deserved holiday next week!

We have tried really hard for the last couple of months to organize to have a locum here during the whole week, but due to the Nation Wide Vet Shortage, we will only have a locum vet available for appointments Thursday 10th - Saturday 12th September.

Between Monday 7th - Wednesday 9th, the nurses will be available for nurse appointments, some medication refills, phone calls and retail services.

Don't be tempted to sneak your dog a bite of your Christmas lunch today - even if they give you their best puppy dog eyes! Remember, these festive foods are for dogs if you want to avoid an emergency trip to the vet:

🍫 chocolate
☕ caffeine
🍇 raisins and grapes
🧅 onions and garlic
🥜 nuts, especially macadamias, mouldy walnuts, almonds and pistachios
🌽 corn cobs (the cobs can cause gastrointestinal obstructions)
🍖 cooked bones: these can splinter when chewed, causing much irritation to the gastrointestinal tract
🍬 sugar-free sweets containing xylitol or birch sugar

Keep a stash of their favourite dog treats on hand - and leave the Christmas BBQ and fruit cake for your human guests!
