📢 King’s Birthday Closure Notice 👑

Just a friendly reminder that we will be closed on King’s Birthday.(Monday 1st June)
We will reopen at 8am as usual on Tuesday 2nd June. 
If your pet requires urgent veterinary attention while we are closed, please contact your nearest emergency veterinary clinic, found below:

Pip (cat one the left in the first photo!) and his sister Bellatrix. These gorgeous photos were sent to us by their mum ❤️. Mr Pip has been in to see us quite a bit recently but his mum says he is recovering well and spending some time with his sister 💞.

She was brought to us to be scanned for a microchip by a member of public, however she is not microchip.

She was found outside Birkdale North School on Birkdale Street.

Coco is part of Mobility Dogs - a wonderful, dedicated team who train their dogs to help people living with a disability with everyday tasks, as well as be a companion and emotional support 💞.

If you guess "Roxanne" on our previous post, you are correct!! ✨️

I have been a Receptionist with the Onewa Family for just over 3 years now and it has been a dream.

However, I am sad to be making this announcement but I am finishing up with these amazing human beings this week because I am embarking on a big journey home to Christchurch again.

I thought I would use this opportunity to say thank you to all the amazing clients and patients I have met in my 3 years of being with the clinic. I have met some incredible people and I have created some really wonderful relationships along the way. I am really going to miss everyone so much!

I have cried, I have laughed and I have had the best time working with my big work family.

To the team at Onewa Vets, Richard, Cheryll and Oliver,
Thank you so much for giving me this life changing opportunity to work here. It has been a pleasure to work for such a supportive, caring and kind team. I am always going to cherish this role as it holds a very special place in my heart ❤️ Being able to watch this team save lives and care for the patients behind the scenes is nothing short of amazing.

I wish everyone all the very best, I will miss the team, the clients and the patients so very much 😢
