It sounds cliche but our boys health and mental wellbeing is a huge thing for me. When I started breeding over a decade ago, having entire boys segregated was the norm. Our first attempts at stud co-living did not go well, but we now have a pair of brothers both entire that live together, a father and son that live together and these two idiots that love each other “Zoel Tangled up in blue” IMP AU And home breed Arlo who finally got neutered at a year old last week

All the kids had a great weekend!

Metro Shorthair yesterday and Catz Inc today. Noodle (Zoel Tangled up in blue) had a solid placing in top 10s across the 2 days. Cocoa (Tasanee Ticked Up On Cocoa) first outing as an adult also was consistent including a reserve in show. But Bruno (Tasanee Ticks All The Boxes) was back in his element - this boy loves being showed - some cats enjoy it, others tolerate it, but his goal in life is to be adored by all! 2x reserve in show and a third at Metro + a judges special award. 2 x Best in show shorthair and one reserve and a Best in show all breeds and a 3rd All breeds in the 2 all Breeds ring. And another judges choice to round it out.

I normally say the girls are calculating and the boys just do dumb stupid stuff… but the boys are winning this week. They have lovely new automatic litter boxes, both my boys rooms the collection tray has been pulled out entirely and pee’d in. This is tonight’s effort (two strips of electrical tape was mearly a hindrance today) I have duct tape as a back up tomorrow or a ratchet strop…

It’s show season again next weekend! We will have Tango (Noodle), Bruno and Cocoa on show. Arlo (pictured) will be meeting prospective parents on Sunday.

We have breeding cats, but our dogs are an integral part of our socialising. After winning a photo shoot at the pet expo, we decided Kayla our 14.5 year old Huntaway should the subject of the shoot as we know we are on borrowed time with her. She’s helped raise numerous litters of kittens, cleaning and corralling them. Cookies also came along for the ride and couldn’t help being featured. Many thanks to Angela Scott Photography for your patience with our old deaf girl.

Looking for a great retirement home for Gary (Odakim Merlin does magic) and also hopefully his son Barry a lilac bicolour who has always lived with his dad. Both have been booked in for desexing next week (note we have a minimum 8 week stand down to flush hormones and fertility). Gary and Barry have been clean boys even entire and they will be even better as pets. Gary is extremely cuddly, loves shoulders and people Barry is more reserved but a sweetie. Ideally we would like to home them together, please reach out if you are interested

Super proud of the kids today, they loved their adoring fans at the pet expo! We swapped around the 3 cats we took so they all had down time, but were very happy for cuddles with anyone willing. Bruno in his usual style ended up on the shoulders of a few visitors, and also clocked on to a lovely lady in a wheelchair jumping off the table to curl up in her available lap.
